Winter storm Hernando has made its presence known on Nantucket. Blizzard, high wind and coastal flood warnings have been issued for the island through Tuesday morning. Wave heights of seven to 10 feet in Nantucket Sound are possible, and “storm force winds and hazardous seas could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility,” according to the NWS.
