We can’t believe it’s already been six weeks since we set off on our WONDERVERSE tour! 💫 In August, we travelled more than 1,700 km to Port Pirie, Whyalla, Renmark and Mount Gambier sharing the magic of theatre with over 2,600 children, parents, teachers and carers. The joy, curiosity and awe we witnessed along the way made every moment unforgettable. We’re deeply grateful to the communities who welcomed us, to the teachers and parents who made the journey possible and most of all to the young audiences whose imagination and energy are the heartbeat of our work. #hosted Wonderverse is a super unique entertainment space and restaurant in Oak Brook Center. While some spaces, like the Ghost Trap Speakeasy, are for adults only, they have plenty of spaces that are super kid-friendly! We enjoyed the family brunch, the arcade, and one of the escape rooms! We did The Galleon, which was actually perfect for my 5yo, but they have several others. Wonderverse in @oakbrookcenter needs to be high on your list! Because from the minute we walked in, all we kept saying and hearing was “this is so cool” The staff greets you right as you walk in and helps you curate the experience you want. Everything is a la carte! You spend your money and your time on what you choose. There are five Sony Pictures movie-themed adventure areas! ▪️ Ghostbusters - Featuring two virtual reality experiences ▪️Jumangi- One virtual reality experience ▪️Zombieland- An arcade filled with bumper cars, and lots of other interactive games ▪️ Bad Boys- Arcade-style car racing ▪️Unchartered - Escape Rooms What to know: ▪️ Park by @llbean and @ballarddesigns - The staircase takes you right up. ▪️♿️ There are Elevators under the stairs- look for signs. ▪️The Commissary Restaurant features all the comfort classics including the original diner set from Seinfeld! ▪️Their event spaces are perfect for work events or birthday parties.
