“Last weekend, I had the privilege of conducting a mandala workshop for kids during my friend Vaibhav’s piano recital day. What an incredible experience! I introduced the young artists to the world of mandala art, sharing its history, significance, and beauty. Showcasing my own artworks, including my 11-hour canvas masterpiece, left them mesmerized. As they brought their own creativity to life, coloring mandala patterns with vibrant hues, I was amazed by their talent! Every piece turned out stunning, reflecting the uniqueness of each child. It was heartwarming to see them enjoy the process and take pride in their art. It feels so CRINGY to hear my voice and the things I say 😅 but in the end it's how people react that matters. As a facilitator, it's not about you. When I teach my students, there is no script involved. The inspiration needs to come through the connection you establish with the participants, clients, subjects. The goal of these sessions is simply allowing people to feel and let go of whatever blocks they may have around pleasure. It's a container for allowing deeper layers of ourselves to express. On top of this, you can create strong anchors between the sensation and the object of whatever visualization you hold in the moment. Reactions always vary depending on the person. Some people cry. Others laugh. Many come. Very often, the whole group comes at once and becomes like a unified and single organism.
