My heart is wrenched!!! I’m frustrated, angry, hurt and truthfully, I feel powerless to do anything about it. God please hep us! This is a grievous time for our people in this country!

Fun fact: My dad never wrenched on cars (only to fix small things when he can). Growing up, I actually helped him with his engineering projects like wiring, circuit boards, all the technical stuff he was always working on. Now the roles have shifted. He’s out here holding the flashlight while I wrench on my race car. It’s funny, a little ironic, and honestly one of the coolest full-circle moments for us and we both started cherishing that a lot and he really enjoys being involved with my videos which is super dope. Lots of running around these days. School drop offs, pick ups, appointments, work, schedules - the constant - the Suburban. First time in 6 months where I haven’t wrenched on it a 7 day span. Feels good that it’s running but also have a couple things I need to do. Think the front passenger window switch needs to be replaced, it works intermittently, but always if I use the switch on that door (but have to press it in pretty hard)… Power steering pump has a slow leak, so may tackle that before it becomes a bigger headache. Couple other things, but with the holidays fast approaching I’m really just looking forward to this being the family sleigh. So this damn cathole I was bathing him and I wrenched my back. I went to the doctor today. I have pulled back and groin muscles! So much pain. It really hurts a lot and it's upsetting because not only a was I supposed to go for my tattoo appointment today but B. Because I'm the night guy at the hospital with Dad. I go and sit with him in the evening till about midnight. Just seems like when it rains it pours and I haven't made any sales at all. Built not Bought. Both the man and the truck. This audio really resonated with me especially when I think about this day. To be very real, I got frustrated when things weren’t going to plan. If you’ve ever wrenched on a vehicle, you know what I’m taking about. The thing that “should” take 2 seconds takes 2 hours. It happens. Sarah called me in. My communication became short, frustrated and honestly… not as grateful as it should have been to the women beside me swapping out OUR suspension on OUR only vehicle. She didn’t have to help. At one point she asked me, “is this how you’d want your child to see you working on the truck or talking to me”. OOOOFFFFFF. Humbling and boy did that hurt my ego. Yeah I got one. We all do. I say this because it was SUCH A GIFT Sarah just gave me. What a privilege to be able to look at that and say, “fuck babe I hate how right you are”. The reluctancy of the ego. The need to be right. These days I just try to fight to understand, then to be understood. We turned it around immediately and finished the job laughing and giggling. I heard this audio and while I’m not married (yet 😏) I’m always going to fight to be a better man for myself and for my home. I’m not just building a truck, Im building a man big enough to build a legacy that lasts. I’m grateful to have the right person by my side to remind me of who I aspire to be. Who I need to be.

And I'm not sure how I feel about it ✨ We had little ones first taster session at school this week and it wrenched my heart a little. He clung to my hand so tightly and I didn't want to let go of his either. It feels harder when it's your final baby, and we're really ending the baby/toddler phase now and I'm not ready, and I don't think he's ready for school. He really did feel like one of the littlest. Sleeping with the mouth open and neck in hyperextension (wrenched backwards) is a sign that your little one is trying to get more air in. We should all be able to breathe through our nose all the time, silently - no sounds, no snoring 🙅‍♀️ When there is increased resistance to nasal airflow (for any reason) we switch to mouth breathing to try to get the air we need. Mouth breathing is an adaption, it is not normal. Common but not normal. During sleep, lots of things happen that make nose breathing even more difficult if there is some existing resistance. We lay on our back, muscles in the tongue and throat relax. Sleeping with the neck in hyperextension is a compensatory tool to open the airways.
