First of all, I’m a huge fan of ereaders. I was one of the early adopters of the very first Nook device. I love my physical books, but I love the convenience of ereading. In this video I tried to give a good size comparison between the xteink reader and my kindle paperwhite and kindle basic. You can also see that the xteink has MagSafe compatibility which is a cool feature. I’m reading A Separate Peace by John Knowles so I flipped through a few pages so you can see what that looks like. 💭𝐌𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 → I’m obsessed with the size. It’s super lightweight and smaller than my phone, but it gives the ‘feel’ of being on a phone. It has been great for getting me back to reading instead of doomscrolling → The MagSafe component is cool because you can just stick it on the back of your phone and put it in your pocket or purse, but I noticed I have to move the device higher on the back of my phone for it to really ‘hook’ → It does take a little bit of user education to add your books to the device and you need to own the books you put on it. I read a lot of classics that you can get for free anyway on top of all my owned books, so not a big issue for me → Physical buttons! So hear me out here 😂 For the price point I think this is brilliant! You do have to tinker around a little to know how to use it and change file types etc but honestly, it isn't hard and there is just so much support for this on reddit. If you want a cheap, small and functional ereader you can just slip into your pocket anytime and read on the go then this is really great! P.S: This is not a paid review.
