Big moment for the Z31 build. This was the clean pull from dyno day where the car put down 341whp / 326wtq on 91 octane at 16 psi on the Mustang dyno still cleaning up the tune. No matter how the day ended, I still want to say thank you to @bainstuning_gary for getting the car on the rollers and spending the time with the setup. I appreciate the session and the chance to finally see what the car would do. The full story didn’t go exactly how I planned, but this pull showed the car has real potential. okay finally serving some z31 exhaust clips for those that were keen on it. i love the sounds this engine produces. bear with me here i just whipped this up. i have 0 experience mastering audio but im trying to learn. i would say its best listened to with headphones of course. the turbo does whistle still and i would say that this audio makes the turbo whistle sound quieter than it actually is. anytime you are running a downpipe with no cat and no resonator its safe to bet you will have an audible turbo whistle, even with my muffler i still enjoy hearing it. it was more audible fully straight piped ofc. This exhaust setup: Full ss 2.5” straight from turbo to a Kakimoto racing muffler (3.5” outlet) thats no catalytic converter or resonator. mic setup: one DJI mic 2 placed next to my plate. receiver gain is -12 and transmitter gain is also -12. #z31 #nissan #exhaust #turbo
