I’d rushed out that morning and completely forgot to bring my own food to the airport, which is usually my safety net. It’s well worth it to be able to snuggle with the cutest girl 🩷 *I take Zyrtec sometimes and do allergy shots once a month which has also been helpful. I started reacting to the TPN and with trial and error we figured out I was reacting to the lipid component, but we still didn't know which part of the SMOF. Despite being on high doses of prednisone, we went forward with bloodwork which showed that I have a fish allergy. The lipids I've been on, SMOF, contain fish oil. There is still a chance I'll react to the new lipid, Intralipid. MCAS is so unpredictable and I got my first Xolair a week ago so it still needs time to kick in. Hopefully with this new TPN, I won't react and I'll be able to get everything I need and start feeling better #tpn #smas #mcas #allergy #chronicillness
