How our oceans should look. Not overfished and stripped bare, the way they are now becoming. The Galapagos is one of the few places in the world that truly shows how wild and healthy the ocean is meant to be. With an overwhelming amount of life everywhere. Waiting for these creatures to slip outside of their protected zone. Please remember everyone that what you see on TV this shark week will 99% likely be over exaggerated, dramatised and intentionally misleading in order to make ratings and get that sweet profit. Year after year these shows continue to use this same flogged to death narrative to cash in at a further expense to sharks, while taking us further away from understanding and respecting the true nature of these unique fish, (being that some sharks are just another apex predator playing their role in the ecosystem, while others are completely harmless).
