Here’s a short guide to how I annotate! One thing I forgot to mention is that your annotations don’t have to be “complex” at all — you can just write down whatever is on your mind while reading the book. Also, I don’t always use those tabs — you can do just fine without them. Journaling while reading is another great thing to do, but that’s for another video. Hope this has helped! Three Days Grace comes out in two weeks btw! This was a perfect book to annotate — full of deep aspects of the characters’ histories and behaviours paid partnership

Books are allowed to look like they’ve been read & loved I know not everyone likes writing in books and that’s okay but for me it makes them feel more alive. I love looking back at highlighted passages, little notes and all the signs that a book was truly read and loved. I think it’s something beautiful and I feel like it’s art. It’s part of my reading experience. And after all, it is my book :) How do you feel about annotating?
