Here’s how I made $5000+ at my first ever art market🫣 Excuse my typo of “lysol” I meant to say “lights will” 😅 Instagram’s auto-caption is bugging on me😭 #artmarket #artfair #craftfair #artistsupport #smallartistsupport #firsttime #artist #artistsoninstagram #cuteart #kawaii #illustrator #sunnysidebysun #renegadecraftfair

I’m so glad I started doing art shows and markets! 🌾💌🌸 I had my first art market back in the summer of 2022 and since have sold at all types of shows, some big, some small. I didn’t realize what joy it brought me that others actually liked my work and some even wanted something for their own home! It is such a blessing to feel that I can help bring beauty to different stranger’s lives. I love to create and love when others can share in that. 🤍 • • • • • • • #artseller #illustrationartist #procreateartist #watercolorartist #watercolorflorals #artshows #artshow #artmarket

I recently made a sales record for my general fair events! Selling art to the general public can be tricky. Here are the 5 things I changed that helped with sales: 1. Placing eye catching items at the entrance. I placed my tote bags and large print portfolio at the front and I could hear people talk about the items from outside as they walked in to check out my things hehe 2. Adjusting small things for optimal browsing and buying. I obsessed over reducing any friction when it comes to buying. Self serve stations, being able to easily pick up and look through items are all super helpful. This time I decided to raise my print display height by a teeny bit. This was a much better height for adults. 3. Display board for stickers. When it gets crowded it’s very difficult for everyone to see. Having a display board + self serve station solves this. 4. Mystery bags. Make them. Do it. 5. Booth decor! I used up all my little decor bits and the booth had a nice vibe :) check out my other videos for how I made them. Happy vending! #artistsoninstagram #artistalley #artfairs # #artbusiness #artbusinesstips craftfair #craftfairdisplay #artistalleytips #sellingart #financialtransparency #artistsupport #businesstips

Craft fair No.2 ✨ I would definitely say this one was a success! I think all of the things that I have added to my stand have definitely helped to invite more people to my stall. I also think this market was well known by the public which also meant the footfall of customers was much better! ✨ I’m still not sure if this is a really good amount of profit, but to me it feels like a good amount ☺️. I can honestly say I had such a nice day and my soul felt so happy after talking to all of the lovely people at the market. 🌸🌻✨

How affordable is the art at the Affordable Art Fair? Let’s be real—I’m no art expert, but I *do* love and appreciate art. The pieces I bring home are always ones that speak to me—whether they symbolize something meaningful or simply resonate with me on a personal level. So, how much is an artwork *really* worth? In my opinion, it’s worth exactly as much as you love it—and as much as you can comfortably afford. A quick rule of thumb? If a piece costs more than 0.1% of your total assets, it might be over your budget (but hey, that’s just my take!). A huge shoutout to **@AffordableArtFair** for making art accessible and giving incredible artists and galleries a platform to showcase their work. The passion and creativity on display deserve all the applause. 👏 #affordableart #affordableartfairhongkong

Flashback to just over a week ago in Doylestown, PA. Many of my clips were filmed during the rainy portions of the show, but there were dry times too☀️I had a lot of fun and am very grateful…I think I finally have everything put away and am ready to get back to work in my studio. I posted some photos a few days ago was asked about the setup. The walls of the tent are mesh panels from Flourish, and I highly recommend them for an airy, lightweight option. They connect to the frame of the pop-up tent. You use S hooks to hang the art (my paintings are always shipped with D-rings/wire attached so they are ready to hang). Feel free to send any other questions. Thanks😀 #artbooth #artshow #flowerpaintings #forflowerlovers #acrylicpainting

Showing at an art fair this year? Check out these 5 tips to help you generate sales and get more red dots! 🔴🔴👇🏻👇🏻 • • • • If you’re like me you’re always looking for the best fairs to show your art at. There’s lots of art fairs coming up this spring/summer where thousands of pieces of art fill up a convention centers. It’s truly remarkable the amount of art that is brought in and can sometimes feel overwhelming for artist, galleries, and buyers alike. It’s usually sensory overload when you take your first step into an art fair. So how do you make your art stand out from all the others? How do you get people to buy your art when there’s so much art to choose from? Check out my 5 tips below. 1️⃣ Be ready to speak to your work. People want to connect with the artwork they are buying. Why did you create this piece? How did you make it? What inspired you to make it? 2️⃣ Treat every single person that enters your booth like a potential collector. Don’t judge a book by its cover. 3️⃣ If you have a potential buyer- DO NOT let them leave your booth with out buying. If they do, your chances of closing the sale becomes significantly less. Negotiate. Come prepared to negotiate and have a lowest price already in mind. You have to realize that the “competition” is fierce at these fairs. I put competition in quotes because to me it’s not actually a competition, it just mean there’s an unlimited amount of art to choose from and I promise you a potential buyer will like more then 1 piece throughout the show. 4️⃣ Take down info from people that showed genuine interest in you and your art. Follow up with them after the show. With so many artists and galleries, you really never know when you will see an ROI from being there. Meet as many people as you can. Connect with as many like minded people as you can. 5️⃣ Be yourself and have fun. Collectors buy art because they vibe with the artist as much as because they enjoy the art. Again, there’s a lot of art to choose from, chances are a collector will buy your Mickey Mouse piece over the other Mickey Mouse piece because they clicked with you while you spoke with them. #arttips #artsales #artmarket #reddot #artdealer #artadvisor
