Going across the goalkeeper to the far post is a really essential part of a backhand strike. From the left shoulder of the D, don’t underestimate the significance of going far post… It’s the biggest part of the goal to aim for, it’s an area for deflections, and also if the keeper saves with the left boot, it can come back into the D! But ball position is key here, and we want to place the ball out in front of the right foot, and get the stick head coming through aggressively. What do you struggle with on the backhand??
