Breaking Bread 🥖 I’ve always had a longstanding fascination with the process of bread making. Yeast is the quiet alchemist, the unseen architect of transformation, its life force a symphony of movement. In the end, it leaves its mark—a golden crust, a delicate crumb—a testament to the subtle power of movement hidden within. This particular tablescape was an ode to that age old dance—the dance of yeast—and something I have wanted to create for a while now. I’m so proud to have had the chance to make this set up using artisanal breads made entirely in Pakistan by the incredible @crumbsthebakers I cannot tell you how gorgeous the breads were and they tasted absolutely divine! Hands down the best sourdough bread in Lahore! The lovely couple who run the bakery, Ahmad and Safiha make all the breads by themselves…(even that gorgeous scoring)—and they were such a dream to work with! If you have not tried @crumbsthebakers , make sure to order yours asap! I cannot wait to share more with you guys!
