Well, here we are - hello 2026. And in true Byes fashion… we’ve started the year in a bin. 🤦🏼‍♀️ (It can only get better, right?! 🤪) Anyway… I just wanted to wish you all well. I hope your year’s off to a belter, and that 2026 turns out to be everything you hope it will be… 🫶🏻 I’m not really one for New Year’s resolutions - we all know things rarely go to plan here. I’m more of a ‘fake it ’til you make it’ kinda gal, and sometimes winging it opens doors you didn’t know were there… But dry January? Well, I’ll give it a go… (although I’m easing in gently. The 1st was far too ambitious. Only Mondays are for life changes, right? 😂) The rest of the year? I’ll be muddling through, step by step. Our farm saga will plough on - renovations, mishaps, dreams, and yes, glow-up disco toilets 😬 And the constant lesson that mud truly has no end. Although, I do now own wellies - so baby steps, right? 😂 We’re growing in other ways too. Edward turns 13 (HOW 😭) and Rufus turns 3 - a teenager and a three’nager under one roof. Send help. And wine. Dry Jan can sod off by then. 🤪 James will be off touring, and I’ll be here juggling four boys, pretending I understand farm equipment, and quietly building my new venture (more soon!) 🫶🏻 And some days I reckon I’ll nail it, and some days I’ll limp on by - and most days I’ll hide in the pantry… 😂 but I’ll keep showing up. And in the end, that’s all any of us can ever really do right? 🫶🏻 So here’s to 2026: muddy boots, disco loos, chaos, love, laughter… and the last of the Baileys that I’m swigging as we speak! 😂 And if you’ve been here a while, you wouldn’t expect anything less. 🤪 It’s going to be bat shit crazy. And I’m all kinds of scared, and nervous and terrified I’m in over my head… But I’m excited too… So, Thanks again you lovely lot… for everything 🫶🏻 Can’t wait to have you along for the ride… 🚜 xx
