✨ learn how to re-wire your brain 🧠 ⤵️ Self-directed neuroplasticity is the process of physically changing our brain structures and functions by intentionally redirecting our focus and what we pay attention to. In this way, it is possible to ‘rewire’ our brains to get unstuck and overcome limiting beliefs, negative thinking patterns, disruptive emotions, and self-sabotaging behaviours. 🧠 To apply self-directed neuroplasticity, a good starting point would be to become very selective in what and who you continuously expose yourself to, what you focus on and what you repeat. To affect lasting change in brain networks and functions, the following techniques and practices can be helpful: 1️⃣ Selective Attention Attention is a limited resource and whatever we hold in attention has the ability to change our brains and our lives, so we have to choose wisely. Selective attention is the ability and skill to focus on a specific stimulus (issue, topic, event) or activity of choice, even in the presence of other distracting stimuli. This comes down to deciding what we will read, listen to, watch, talk about and spend on. Deliberately steering our attention in this way is both a decision to make and a skill to be learned. 2️⃣ Mindfulness Humans spend very little of our ‘thinking time’ on what is happening with us ‘right now’. We spend a lot of time thinking about the past. Mindfulness is the state of being ‘fully present’ in the moment – being aware of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations and environment without judgment or interpretation. Being mindful is a skill that can be learned through practice and mindfulness meditation. 3️⃣ Cognitive Reframing Cognitive reframing (aka ‘cognitive restructuring’) is based on the principle that our points-of-view and interpretations of the world largely depends on the ‘frame’ it is viewed in. Changing from a negative frame to a more positive frame about the same situation allows us to recognise other ways of seeing and interpreting, thereby increasing the choices available to us and our adaptability to people, events, and situations. #mindset #psychology #love #quotes #wellness #selflove #selfcare

Complaining isn’t harmless… neuroscience proves it’s destroying your brain. Here’s how ⬇️ 1. Strengthens the wrong neural pathways. 2. Floods your body with stress hormones. 3. Trains your brain to notice more problems. 4. Shuts down your decision-making center. 5. Shrinks your hippocampus (memory + resilience). 6. Makes your default mode network stuck in suffering. Stop complaining → protect your brain → rewire for growth. Neuroscientists found that directing your attention toward positive moments — gratitude, small wins, kindness, or progress — strengthens the neural pathways linked to optimism and emotional resilience. Over time, the brain becomes better at noticing uplifting experiences and quicker at letting go of stress. This rewiring process, known as neuroplasticity, shows that your mindset isn’t fixed — your thoughts literally reshape your brain. The more you choose positive focus, the more your brain expects, searches for, and amplifies positivity in your daily life. It’s a self-reinforcing loop that can transform your mental health, motivation, and overall happiness.

Research shows that when you consistently focus on the good, your brain actually rewires itself to notice more positive experiences around you. This happens because of neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to form new neural connections based on what you repeatedly think or feel. When you practice gratitude or positive attention, the neural pathways linked to optimism strengthen, while negative pathways weaken. Over time, your mind becomes naturally trained to search for uplifting patterns instead of stressful ones. This shift doesn’t just change your mood; it changes the structure of your brain. 🧠🤯 📖Scientific reference: A study published in The Journal of Experimental Psychology (Fredrickson et al., 2008) shows that positive emotions broaden thinking patterns and create lasting neural growth through neuroplasticity. #naturalhealingremedies#naturalremedieswork#natureshealing#ancientmedicine#planthealing#healingnaturally#naturalcures#holistichealthcoach#livenaturally#naturalsolutions#homeremedies#healingplants#plantspirithealing#greenmedicine#naturalrelief#diyremedies#plantbaseddiet#healthylifehappylife#naturopathicmedicine#holisticremedies#organicremedies#foodismedicine#betterhealth

Your brain isn’t choosing negativity on purpose. It’s choosing what feels familiar🧠 The brain strengthens whatever you repeat the most. Think stress all day → your brain gets better at stress. Think self-criticism often → your brain gets better at criticizing you. Not because something is wrong with you. Because your brain is efficient. But here’s the good news: The same brain can be trained for peace, confidence, and happiness. Your brain learns from what you practice. So start training it differently: 1️⃣ Name what you feel Just saying “I feel anxious” helps calm your brain. 2️⃣ Pause before reacting Even a 10-second pause helps your brain think instead of react. 3️⃣ Focus on one positive thing daily Gratitude, presence, or reflection slowly rewires your mind. Your brain is always learning from what you pay attention to. So ask yourself: What am I training my brain to notice every day? 👀 🧠 Your mind is not fixed. It’s programmable. ➡️ Comment “REWIRE” and I will send you a personal invitation to my FREE training on how to rewire your brain for success using neuroscience 🧠 ➡️ Follow @quantumcartel @alejandraperryofficial For more hacks on brain rewiring 🧠 Video: neurons under microscope by Mr Duncan’s social studies #neuroplasticity #neurociencia #emotionalintelligence #neuroscience rewireyourbrain
