After cutting, our cold process soap still needs time to cure. During this curing period, the extra water in the soap slowly evaporates. As the water evaporates, the bar becomes harder, milder, and much longer lasting. The pH also settles, which makes the soap gentler for the skin. So this waiting time is very important.
