Bayesian cable curls done right = pure hypertrophy. Lock in the mind-muscle connection, slow the negatives for max time under tension, chase clean reps with progressive overload, and watch that biceps peak pop. No ego, just execution. - - - - - #bayesiancurls #bicepday #armworkout #cablecurls #hypertrophy

Bayesian cable curl form improves biceps activation by targeting the long head under stretch with proper cable positioning, increasing muscle activation, peak contraction, and overall biceps growth using correct bayesian cable curl form. Link in bio. ❌ You’re Doing Bayesian & Incline Curls WRONG — Here’s Why When performing Bayesian cable curls or incline dumbbell curls, most people let their elbows drift forward. This shifts tension to the front delts and trains the biceps in a shortened position. The entire point of these curl variations is to load the biceps in a stretched position. When your elbows move forward, you’re doing the opposite—and defeating the purpose of the exercise. ✅ Fix it: Keep your elbows behind your torso the entire time. This maximizes stretch and tension on the biceps.

❌ Cheating Curls → Perfect Bayesian Curl Setup ✔️ Most people turn Bayesian curls into shoulder work. That’s the mistake. Set the cable high. Step out, elbow up. Lean forward, drop the shoulder. Now curl with constant tension- no swinging, no shoulder takeover. That’s real biceps loading. #bicepsworkout #bayesiancurl #armtraining #bicepsgrowth #gymtips #formcorrection #bodybuilding #fitover40 #cablecurl #musclecontrol #trainingtechnique #armday #maikwiedenbach

So here is what the Bayesian cable curls does well, what it doesn’t do well, and what modification I’d make to improve the it’s weaknesses.

Thicken your arms with Bayesian cable curls Little leaning forward and curl with control is all you need for growth.

💡 Still doing basic curls? Level up with Bayesian Curls 💪 🚀 Loaded stretch = more muscle growth 🎯 Targets the long head of your biceps 🔁 Constant tension from cables = no weak spots 📌 Add this to your next arm day and thank me later. 🔑 Tip: Keep your elbow behind your torso and control every rep. #biceps #bayesiancurls #gymhack #armtraining #musclebuilding #stretchgains @appliednutrition @appliednutrition.uk @celsiusuki @celsiusofficial

Bayesian Decline Bench Dumbbell Curls... because you don't come to me for normal... This is a free weight variation of the excellent cable exercise called the Bayesian Curl. That exercise uses the cable along with changes in body position and arm position to work the biceps starting from a more stretched position coming up to a more contraction-focused position. You can get that same effect by using a decline bench like this! You CAN get a similar effect with an incline bench, lying back then leaning forward as you curl up, but I've found this setup to work much better. I find it generates more tension and you can lean back further. You're going to sit on the decline bench, lean back and grab the dumbbells (or start with them in your hands). I'm just using 25 lb dumbbells here - you don't need heavy weight. You want to use a strict movement and get a focused stretch and contraction on each rep. It's also going to hit your six pack abs and hip flexors strongly as well. Make sure as you lean back that you brace your core solidly. IMPORTANT - if you have back issues, you may want to skip this one...the leaning back part does put a bit of loading on the lower back. Lean back and really feel the stretch on the biceps. Then as you curl up, bring your torso upright then lean forward. This changes the angle of tension on the biceps while you're doing the curl. I recommend 2-3 sets of this. On the last set, you can rep out using alternating dumbbell curls (this takes advantage of the bilateral force deficit, meaning you can lift relatively more when you're working one arm at a time).
