Be independent. Be ready.” That’s the kind of fear-based advice I hear all the time. But here’s the thing—I’m not living my life in fear of the “what ifs.” I’m not building my life on the shaky foundation of worldly wisdom. I chose a man who fears the Lord. A man who leads, provides, protects, and stays. He doesn’t just carry our daughter in his arms—he carries this family with strength and sacrificial love. He’s not perfect, but he’s steady. He’s present. He’s masculine in all the best ways. And that’s exactly what this world is trying to destroy—godly, masculine men. We need more of them. Not fewer. We need men who love their wives like Christ loved the Church. Who stay, even when it’s hard. Who lead with truth and tenderness. Who raise their sons to do the same and show their daughters what to look for. I won’t apologize for depending on my husband. I won’t apologize for trusting him.
