Do NOT make the mistake to SKIP this hike! ✅ SHARE this with someone visiting Sedona soon!✨ 📍Devil’s Bridge in Sedona, Arizona 📌 Mescal Trailhead or Dry Creek Trailhead 🥾 3.9 miles RT from Mescal Trailhead ⏰ 1 hr 40 min Average Hike Time RT ⬆️ 528 Elevation Gain - To be honest, we were hesitant to go here at first. We knew it would be an epic spot to see and hike, but we’ve heard it getting super crowded to the point where you can’t find parking and then you would have to wait over an hour to walk on the bridge for a photo. We went a morning after a storm and it must have been the BEST time to go. There was barely any body there at 10am! In fact, we probably only waited for 5-10 minutes for our turn to take pictures on the bridge. That is unheard of! 🤯 Typically, this Devil’s Bridge would be jam packed by 8am! ✅ SAVE this for your Sedona planning!✨ — If you’re new here, hello! We are Mark and James! Great Hike to do with Kids ! The actual Devil’s Bridge Trail is fairly short (about 1.8 miles roundtrip), but you will probably end up walking a longer distance because of the rough roads. Expect to walk anywhere from 4 miles round-trip and take about 2 to 3 hours to complete the hike. 🏜️ Devils Bridge is located in Sedona Arizona and here is our best tips for hiking it! 🌵it is so important that you GET THERE EARLY. If your a photographer I cannot stress this enough. We hiked this twice, once at 6am and once at 10am. Trust us! 📸 🌵 you will wait in line for this photo no matter what! I felt like I was mentally prepared for this so it didn’t bother me! But others felt differently. So prepare now, and just use the time to soak in the views 😍 6am start we waited maybe 5 minutes 10am start time we waited for 45 minutes 🌵 it’s a little bit harder of a hike then most people think. Mostly just cause you do have to rock scramble a bit. So if the whole family goes you know what to expect! But we saw all ages and skill levels on this hike! 🌵 there’s multiple starting locations that all end up at the devils bridge hike so you can chose various lengths of hike! We did the Dry Creek Trailhead and ended up doing about 6 miles round trip And as always be kind & leave no trace 😁☮️ #travelcouple #sedona #hikesedona #travelreel #hikemore

Relatable ? READ BEFORE GOING ‼️ SAVE for Later ✅ 📍 Devils Bridge, Sedona TiPs: 1. Avoid weekends and try to reach as early as possible. Finding parking is really hard as this is a really famous spot in the park 2. Hike to Devil’s bridge is 2 miles with a 4*4 vehicle and 4.2 without it since you will end up parking at the Mescal Trailhead. So if you are renting I would suggest you to pick up a 4*4 3. how to avoid the devils bridge crowds 🥾🏜️✨ if you’ve been to sedona or know of it, I bet you’ve heard of or seen photos of devils bridge. the absolutely stunning natural bridge overlooking red rock wilderness! BUT, if you’ve hiked it, you’ve seen the MASSIVE CROWDS. I’ve been once where there was a line of like 50 people to take a photo on the bridge- wild. how to avoid it: •hike via mescal trail not dry creek (parking is easier & less people know about it!) •hike at sunrise or sunset (most people are doing other things at this time- trust me it’s worth it!) •spend time under the bridge (no one does this but it’s super cool too!) comment “devils bridge” for my blog post with more details 🏜️✨

Devil's Bridge VS. Water Canyon Bridge Devil's Bridge (Sedona, Arizona) Location: Located in the Coconino National Forest near Sedona, Arizona. Size: It is the largest natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area, reaching about 54 feet high. Popularity: Highly popular with tourists and hikers, especially for photography due to its striking shape and the expansive views of Sedona’s red rocks. Scenery: Offers panoramic views of Sedona’s red rock formations, and the arch itself is a dramatic, narrow, and visually striking structure. Best Time to Visit: Fall and spring are the most pleasant due to milder temperatures. Water Canyon Natural Bridge (Hildale, Utah) Location: Situated near Hildale, Utah, in the Water Canyon area, within the Vermillion Cliffs. The natural bridge is part of a beautiful canyon environment that feels more remote and pristine. Video Credit 📹 @leaderofargo That “I’m totally fine” face is doing a lot of heavy lifting when there is a 54-foot drop involved. 😅 Devil’s Bridge is the ultimate Sedona “canon event.” One minute you’re vibing on the trail, and the next, your knees are holding a staff meeting about whether or not we actually need to walk out there for the video. Spoiler: The footage always wins, but the leg shakes are real. 🦵✨ 🚠 The Hiker’s Cheat Sheet: If you’re planning to tackle the ledge, here is what you actually need to know: • The Height: It’s a 54-foot (16.5m) drop to the bottom. • The Width: While it looks like a tightrope in photos, the bridge is actually about 6 feet wide at its narrowest point. You’ve got more room than you think! • The Status: This is the largest natural sandstone arch in the Sedona area. • Pro Tip: If you want that iconic shot without a 2-hour wait, get to the trailhead before sunrise. Your sanity (and your schedule) will thank you. Are you team “Walk to the middle and pose” or team “I’ll just take the photo from over here, thanks”?
