The big question I get from non working parents.. wouldn't it be the same cost to just stay home? For some - yes... for others - no. Why do we do it here? Because both my partner and I value our careers and the balance it provides. Almost 8 years ago I became a Mom and it has been and will always been the greatest accomplishment of my life. ❤️🥹 After losing a pregnancy last year in August and a couple years of struggling to get pregnant I have to be honest; I was scared to read this pregnancy test a couple months ago. After having a loss it’s fascinating how you have hope but also feel pain when you read that beautiful word “pregnant”. A couple weeks ago I thought I lost the pregnancy while at a work event and it cracked me. 😭 I found a friend who could give me an ultrasound and there the baby was with a beautiful heart beat. The deep breath that I took & the joy that came over me is hard to explain. We waited longer this time to share the news with Lorenzo as he walked through the last pain with us as well. You will see in the video the process his big and sweet heart when through when discovering he was going to be a big brother. We are honored and have prayed to God that he would become a big brother someday. So Bastian and I would like to thank Jesus for helping us carry the pain & allowing us to feel the JOY once again. Also you might have also seen my sister Conner is expecting a rainbow baby as well! & We are 6 days apart 🥹 (now praying Carley is next 😉 waiting patiently lol) Thank you to everyone who has been by our sides for the last couple years of ups and downs.
