nature amazes me more and more everyday!!! 🫶🏼🐸🧚 this is how cane toads lay their eggs - in long gelatinous strings! they can reach up to 20m in length, containing up to 35,000 eggs! 🤯😳 disclaimer: I handled them to remove them from our swimming pool (they make the water toxic, and are a danger to our pets), I would not recommend touching these or anything to do with cane toads! 😁 this is for educational purposes!

The video features a popular social media creator preparing a massive, unconventional "drink" to celebrate Cinco de Mayo. It begins with the creator struggling to handle a large, clear plastic storage bin filled with a massive block of gelatinous liquid containing what appear to be whole onions or large fruits. Set to the energetic beat of Beyoncé’s "Texas Hold 'Em," the creator flips the entire block into a kitchen sink, where a pre-cut hole in the center allows for a liquid "mix" (likely milk or a cream-based mixer) to be poured directly into the middle. The video concludes with a man using a long metal straw to drink the concoction straight from the sink, giving a thumbs up to the camera. This style of "sink drink" or "countertop cocktail" is a common trope in viral "rage-bait" or shock-humor cooking content, designed to elicit strong reactions from viewers due to its scale and unusual preparation method. #CincoDeMayo #SinkDrink #ViralFood #TexasHoldEm #KitchenHacks Copyright Disclaimer I do not own the rights to this video. Salp is a marine invertebrate that moves by contracting & pumping water through its gelatinous body. It feeds on plankton through its internal feeding filters. When the plankton is plentiful, the salp can clog 21K & sink to the sea floor. This sinking salp carries carbon & nutriets to the sea floor. Small fish can also use salp as a home, protection, or food. Salp do not have a brain or central nervous system. This salp was quickly 179K placed back in the ocean. You’re looking at a physics nightmare that makes basic hygiene in orbit a genuine survival challenge. 💧 On Earth, gravity pulls water down, but on the International Space Station, surface tension is the undisputed king. When Chris Hadfield wrings this cloth, the water doesn't splash—it forms a thick, gelatinous "cloak" that aggressively sticks to his hands. Follow @astronaut_from_mars for more mind-bending orbital physics like this. This isn't just a cool visual; it’s a major safety hazard. If these gelatinous blobs drift into the station's electronics, they can cause catastrophic short circuits. Even worse, if a water bubble covers an astronaut's face, it won't fall off, creating an immediate drowning risk because there’s no "down" for the water to flow. This is exactly why space "showers" are actually just damp towel rubs and no-rinse soap. Every drop is a precious resource that must be manually managed to prevent a floating disaster. Save this if you love learning things like this. Share this with someone who would find this fascinating. If you were stuck in a room with a floating gallon of water, would you be amazed or terrified? #ISS #SpaceScience #PhysicsFun #AstronautLife #Microgravity

Gelatin-rich soups have a pretty long list of benefits. But the only way to eat these foods is to have them available in our homes! Use joints, knuckles, feet, skin, and bones to make thick gelatinous broth. (Add water, bring to a boil and let it simmer for hours. Discard bones and reserve broth.) And then serve it. Again and again and again. Here’s a short list of benefits: Helps with muscle growth, builds immunity, supports the digestive and nervous systems, helps balance blood sugar, and stimulates feel-good serotonin. Plus, all the reasons adults like it - balancing methionine in muscle meat, as a beauty aid for skin, hair and nails. For joint health, reducing oxidative stress, improving sleep, and enhancing memory. These foods used to be a standard part of the diet - as sauces and gravies, and definitely soups. Let’s keep those traditions alive.
