The learning continues - I’ve learned that hard charcoal pencils give me control and clean, light structure, while soft charcoal brings the bold, deep shadows and drama. What is the white thing called? It’s a blending stump. Use it to blend your graphite nice and smooth. The HB pencil is basically your yellow number 2. ✏️ the 8B is much softer and draws much darker. The higher the B number on your pencil the darker it draws.
