Creatine helps you get stronger and build muscle faster. • It gives your muscles more quick energy • You can lift heavier or do more reps • More reps = more muscle • Your muscles look fuller • It helps you recover a little faster That’s it. Take 3-5g a day, every day. Nothing fancy. If you’re trying to level up your body, creatine is one of the easiest upgrades.

I tell almost everyone to supplement with creatine for better performance. But I don’t reccomend loading creatine to almost anyone. 5 grams of creatine daily, is a great dose for most people. But depending on your size, goals, and other things, MORE or LESS could be fine. I see issues when smaller people (usually women) try a loading dose of creatine (usually 20 grams or more) and the consume it ALL at once. This can cause some tummy issues. - Your best bet is to take between 3-5 grams daily. If you tolerate that, you can go quite high. But I would SPREAD the dose out :)

Creatine Explained in 2 Minutes 💪 Still confused about creatine? Here’s what actually happens inside your muscles: ⚡ More ATP = more explosive power 💪 Better performance in short intense efforts ⏳ It doesn’t work overnight — but it works ❌ Most myths are outdated Creatine is not magic. It’s science. Save this before your next workout. #creatine #fitnessfacts #gymscience #supplements #muscle

My thoughts on Creatine: Creatine is easily the best sports supplement on the entire market, and potentially one of the only ones that’s worth your money. (Other than that it’s whey protein) It’s effective for strength and muscle gain, it’s rigorously studied and has proven to be very safe, even for regular consumption, HOWEVER, it is NOT a fat loss supplement and won’t have any effect on your rate or ability to lose fat. And in some people, it might cause water retention, although that has not been proven in human science, it’s just something that a lot of people report. I don’t believe that everyone in their dog needs to be taken creatine. But if you do have a strength or muscle gain goal, and you’re looking for a little bit of a boost, it might be worth it for you. – Jonathan

Creatine is one of the most researched supplements on the planet and is extremely beneficial for all types of people to be taking, not just bodybuilders. But some people label creatine almost as a “natural steroid” as if you will put on mass amounts of muscle. This is just not true. Creatine is stored in muscle cells and plays a role in the ATP-PC energy system, which is the energy system used for high intensity, short duration exercise. While the body already makes creatine, supplementing it will allow for more ATP generation, leading to more force output. But the extra strength thats actually built is about 5-10% more than that of people who dont supplement. While the production is there, dont take creatine thinking you’re just going to explode with muscle. Its a useful supplement i definitely would recommend all people to take, not just people who workout. But to think its “free gains” isn’t exactly the case. Its called a “supplement” for a reason. • • • #gym #exercisescience #fitness

Why aren’t you taking creatine? If you’ve got a reason, it’s probably a myth. LET’S CLEAR THEM UP ⬇️ ❌ “It makes you bloated” ➡️ Nope. Creatine pulls water into your muscles, not under your skin. Translation: fuller muscles, not puffiness. ❌ “It’s basically a steroid” ➡️ Hard no. Creatine is naturally found in foods like red meat and fish. It’s not hormonal, not synthetic nonsense, and definitely not a steroid. ❌ “It’s only for bodybuilders or guys” ➡️ Wrong again. Creatine benefits men and women, beginners and elite athletes alike. WHY YOU SHOULD BE TAKING IT 👇 ✅ More strength & power ✅ Better muscle growth & recovery ✅ Cognitive benefits ✅ Long-term performance gains that compound over time 😤 And if quality or taste was your last excuse, VMI Creatine makes it effortless: ✔️100% premium monohydrate ✔️Amazing flavors you’ll actually enjoy daily ✔️Zero sugar. Creatine has nasty side effects…? 🫣 But don’t worry, there’s a new form of buffered creatine that magically fixes everything 🤡. (In case you can’t tell, I’m being sarcastic) There are lots of different forms of creatine out there: - Creatine monohydrate - Creatine Hydrochloride - Buffered Creatine - Creatine Ethyl Ester - Liquid Creatine - Creatine Magnesium Chelate Every time a “new” version pops up, it’s marketed as the next big thing. But guess what? If we look at the scientific evidence, nothing beats creatine monohydrate. It’s the most researched, effective, cheap and widely available form of creatine. Don’t fall for the hype. Stick with what actually works. Save your money 🫡 📚 References: PMID: 22971354 PMID: 21424716

’ve taken creatine on and off for 20 years. For the last 2.5 months, I increased my dosage to 15g per day to see if I’d notice measurable changes in strength and muscle mass. Before I get into that… I’ve recommended creatine to clients for over 15 years. Why? Because the research is solid. It consistently shows improvements in strength performance, and over time, those strength gains can support increases in muscle mass. It’s in my top 5 supplements. But here’s what I always tell clients: Do not expect to walk into the gym next week and suddenly bench 20kg more. Do not expect your chest to explode after 7 days of 5g per day. That’s marketing. And marketing has overhyped creatine for years. The same applies to the recent surge in claims around cognitive enhancement. There may be benefits. But if you’re expecting a dramatic shift in focus, memory, or mental clarity overnight — you’ll likely be disappointed. Here’s the reality: Creatine is not magic. It’s marginal. But marginal gains matter. Especially in your 40s. If I can gain even a small performance edge that helps me train harder, recover slightly better, or maintain muscle longer I’ll take it. One final point: Buy creatine monohydrate powder. Not gummies. Many gummy products are underdosed. And mixing powder into water forces you to hydrate properly something most people struggle with anyway. If you’d like the full breakdown I put together for my clients including dosage, expectations, and who actually benefits most. Send me a message with the word: Creatine I’ll send it across.
