We’re out shopping for rugs for an upcoming stage and here are the three things we look out for: 1. Rug Color: A rug with the wrong color can make or break a room! We stick to neutrals in an ivory or cream color with maybe one or two accent colors such as grey, blue or brown. 2. Rug Pile: We’ve learned the hard way that a shaggy high-pile rug tends to look “messy” in photos and if the pile is too low, the quality is not right. Somewhere in the middle; a woven, medium pile rug is the way to go. 3. Rug Size: Bedrooms and living rooms will typically look best with and 8x10 or higher. I chose the “Snowgum wool and jute mix with the overlock border” from @floorspaceaustralia I’ve always found it difficult to find a rug that fits our spaces perfectly, it’s either too small or too big. I was able to customise the size I wanted to fit my living room space perfectly and also got to choose the border of my rug too @floorspaceaustralia . I cannot explain how beautifully made this rug is and how comfortable it is to walk on. All their products are eco-friendly, sustainable and made from renewable resources.
