4 Steps to Perfect Mid-Grip Lat Pulldowns ⚠️ Step 1: Position your Hips right under the Pad. Step 2: Grab the Bar 2-3” Outside Shoulder Width for Maximum Force Output. Step 3: When you Pull the bar to your Chest, keep your Chest Up, so you can activate your Back. Step 4: Iinstead of Keeping your Fully Body Upright, Slightly Lean Back, so you can increase your Active Range of Motion. Bonus Tip 5: Lastly, imagine you’re driving your elbows into your Body. vs. Pulling with your Hands. Save this for next time you do Lat Pulldowns💪🏽 #back #lats

We want wings and we’re going to fly with these lats. Position and setup and king for growing bigger lats. Isolating them properly is tough but it can be done. Focus on body setup, scapula position and arm path. As always, smooth strong reps win. #bodybuilding #classicphysique #lats #backworkout #muscle

Malibu Malibu Malibu If your main goal on a Lat Pulldown is to work the lats… stop stretching. For most people, forcing a huge stretch at the top actually makes the movement worse for the lats. Once the arms go fully overhead, you start losing tension on the lats and the movement shifts toward the shoulders and upper back. You are perfectly fine stopping just before your shoulders fully elevate. Your arms can be nearly straight, but in order for them to be straight, you should allow yourself to have a much wider grip so that you still stay in the proper range of motion. Tem puxada que só engana bonito. No nome é dorsal. #latpulldown #backday #lats #hypertrophy #gymtips

Chin-ups vs Pull-ups ⬇️ Chin-up (supinated grip) • Biceps are a primary contributor • Lats still work hard • Greater elbow flexion = often more comfortable • Useful for building strength toward pull-ups Pull-up (pronated grip) • Less biceps involvement • More emphasis on lats, upper back, and rear delts • Typically more challenging • Effective for building back width and overall pulling strength There isn’t a “better” option — just different tools. Choose based on what you’re working toward, or rotate both through your training. Which one feels harder for you right now?

MAG Grip Lat Pulldowns  👇 same movement, different back emphasis. All variations still train the entire back No grip isolates one muscle. These just shift emphasis, while the lats and back are always working. Different MAG grip attachments can slightly change the bias during lat pulldowns — but they all still train the back. Choose based on comfort, goal, and what feels strongest. • Underhand Close MAG Grip → - Primary emphasis: Lower lats - Secondary emphasis: Mid-lats, biceps (due to the supinated grip) Elbows stay tucked close to the torso → more shoulder extension → Bias toward lower lats while still training back More lower lat emphasis + biceps assistance • Parallel MAG Grip (Semi-Pronated) → Primary emphasis - Lats (mid → lower bias) • Teres major • Lower traps, some rhomboids/mid traps depending on how much you retract Mix of shoulder extension + adduction • Medium MAG Grip → Primary emphasis: Mid-back — mid-to-upper lats, mid traps, rhomboids Elbows move out and down at an angle • Wide MAG Grip → Primary emphasis: Upper-back — upper lats, teres major/minor, mid-to-upper traps, rear delts Elbows flare further out to the sides More shoulder adduction + scapular retraction Save this for your next back workout 👇🏽 #gym #fitness #back #explore #reels

Comment STACK and I’ll send you my go-to vitamin list building lean muscle. 💪 Most people aren’t missing effort on lat pulldowns — they’re missing positioning. 1️⃣ Elbows flaring out When your elbows flare too wide, the movement starts becoming more arm-dominant and your lats lose tension. Do this instead: keep your elbows closer in and think about driving them down toward your sides. 2️⃣ Staying too upright When you stay completely straight up, the bar has to travel around your head, which throws off the path and makes the movement less lat-focused. Do this instead: use a slight lean back so the bar can track more cleanly down from the pulley. 3️⃣ Letting your shoulders shrug up When your shoulders rise during the pull, your upper traps start taking over and your lats do less of the work. Do this instead: keep your shoulders down as you pull, then let them come up naturally on the way back. Small form changes make a big difference. Better setup, better tension, better back growth. Save this for your next pull day.

❌ Stop Using Your Biceps on Cable Rows! A common cable row mistake is pulling toward your chest, which makes your biceps take over and reduces tension on your back. Instead, pull toward your belly button to minimize bicep involvement and target your lats more effectively. Size & Shred Training program 👉🏻 deltabolic.com (link in bio)
