കേരളത്തിൻ്റെ പൊതുജനാരോഗ്യ ചരിത്രത്തിലെ അഭിമാനകരമായ മറ്റൊരു നേട്ടം കൂടി നാടിന് സമർപ്പിക്കുകയാണ്. മധ്യകേരളത്തിലെ കാൻസർ ചികിത്സാ രംഗത്ത് വിപ്ലവകരമായ മാറ്റങ്ങൾ ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാർ സജ്ജമാക്കിയ കൊച്ചിൻ ക്യാൻസർ റിസർച്ച് സെൻ്ററിൻ്റെ (CCRC) അത്യാധുനിക ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ സമുച്ചയം ഫെബ്രുവരി 9-ന് ഉദ്ഘാടനം ചെയ്യും. പദ്ധതികളുടെ പ്രഖ്യാപനത്തിനപ്പുറം അവ യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമാക്കാനുള്ള ഇച്ഛാശക്തിയാണ് ഈ സർക്കാരിനെ നയിക്കുന്നത്. 2014-ൽ യുഡിഎഫ് സർക്കാർ ഈ പദ്ധതിക്ക് തറക്കല്ലിട്ടിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും തുടർനടപടികളോ നിർമ്മാണത്തിനാവശ്യമായ ഫണ്ട് കണ്ടെത്താനോ അവർ തയ്യാറായിരുന്നില്ല. 2016-ൽ എൽഡിഎഫ് സർക്കാർ അധികാരമേറ്റതോടെയാണ് ഇതിന് പുതുജീവൻ ലഭിച്ചത്. കിഫ്ബി (KIIFB) വഴി 385 കോടി രൂപയുടെ ഫണ്ട് വകയിരുത്തി പുതിയ പദ്ധതി ആവിഷ്കരിക്കുകയും 2018-ൽ നിർമ്മാണ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾ ഔദ്യോഗികമായി ആരംഭിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. എറണാകുളം കളമശ്ശേരി മെഡിക്കൽ കോളേജ് ക്യാമ്പസിൽ 385 കോടി രൂപ ചെലവിൽ കിഫ്ബി (KIIFB) സഹായത്തോടെയാണ് ഈ ബൃഹദ് പദ്ധതി യാഥാർത്ഥ്യമാക്കിയത്. 6.35 ലക്ഷം ചതുരശ്ര അടി വിസ്തീർണ്ണത്തിൽ ഒൻപത് നിലകളിലായി വ്യാപിച്ചു കിടക്കുന്ന ഈ സമുച്ചയം മധ്യകേരളത്തിലെയും വടക്കൻ കേരളത്തിലെയും ലക്ഷക്കണക്കിന് ജനങ്ങൾക്ക് ആശ്രയമാകും. നിലവിൽ തിരുവനന്തപുരം ആർ.സി.സി-യെ ആശ്രയിക്കുന്ന രോഗികൾക്ക് ഇതോടെ കൊച്ചിയിൽ തന്നെ ലോകോത്തര നിലവാരത്തിലുള്ള ചികിത്സ ലഭ്യമാകും. മികച്ച സൗകര്യങ്ങളാണ് കൊച്ചിൻ ക്യാൻസർ റിസർച്ച് സെൻ്ററിൽ ഒരുക്കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്. 🏥 ആകെ 451 കിടക്കകളുടെ ശേഷിയുള്ള കേന്ദ്രത്തിൽ ഒന്നാം ഘട്ടത്തിൽ 100 കിടക്കകൾ സജ്ജമായി. 🏥 12 അത്യാധുനിക ഓപ്പറേഷൻ തിയേറ്ററുകൾ, ലിനാക് (LINAC) മെഷീനുകൾ, എം.ആർ.ഐ (MRI), സി.ടി സ്കാനറുകൾ എന്നിവയടങ്ങുന്ന വിപുലമായ സംവിധാനങ്ങൾ. 🏥 ക്ലിനിക്കൽ സേവനങ്ങൾക്കൊപ്പം കാൻസർ ഗവേഷണത്തിനും പ്രതിരോധ പ്രവർത്തനങ്ങൾക്കും മുൻഗണന നൽകുന്ന അപെക്സ് സെൻ്റർ. 🏥 സംസ്ഥാനത്തെ ആദ്യത്തെ ‘എഡ്ജ്’ (EDGE) സർട്ടിഫൈഡ് ഹോസ്പിറ്റൽ എന്ന പദവിയും പരിസ്ഥിതി സൗഹൃദമായ രൂപകൽപ്പനയും. ആരോഗ്യമേഖലയിൽ കേരളം മുന്നോട്ടു വെക്കുന്ന ബദൽ വികസന മാതൃകയുടെ സാക്ഷ്യമാണിത്. സാധാരണക്കാർക്ക് താങ്ങാവുന്ന ചെലവിൽ ഏറ്റവും ആധുനികമായ ചികിത്സ ഉറപ്പാക്കുക എന്ന എൽ.ഡി.എഫ് സർക്കാരിൻ്റെ പ്രഖ്യാപിത നയം മികച്ച രീതിയിൽ നടപ്പിലാക്കി വരികയാണ്. പൊതു ആരോഗ്യമേഖലയിലെ ഈ മുന്നേറ്റത്തിൻ്റെ തുടർച്ചയ്ക്കായി നമുക്കൊരുമിച്ച് നിൽക്കാം. #keralamodel #LeftAlternative #HealthForAll #ldfgovernment
