Men are really built different! A rickshaw puller from india, with only one leg, pulls his rickshaw daily to provide for his family. When questioned about his challenge, he responds, "I must do it for my family's sake. If I don't, my kids and wife will sleep without food." His determination highlights the strength of familial bonds amidst hardship. Have a good day! 35% of athletes get shin splints because of this muscle. 50% of basketball players get jumper’s knee. And if it’s weak, your ACL injury risk jumps 4.6 times. It’s called the tibialis, and if you’re not training it, you’re leaving performance (and durability) on the table. Here’s how to fix that. 🔹 Tib Raises – Add weight or resistance as you get stronger 🔹 Reverse Sled Pulls – Mimics real game movements 🔹 Heel Walks – 20-30 seconds per set 🔹 Calf Stretching – Better ankle mobility = better tibialis function 🔹 Single-Leg Balance – Builds ankle control and stability Your tibialis helps you sprint faster, jump higher, and absorb impact when you cut or land. Studies show just six weeks of training it can reduce shin splint pain by 78%. Stay strong. Stay durable. Stay explosive. #AthleteTraining #FootballStrength #TibialisTraining #InjuryPrevention #JumpHigher #RunFaster #AthleticPerformance #StrengthAndConditioning #FootballWorkouts #NFLVeteran #GridironTraining #TrainLikeAnAthlete

Let’s start the year with one of the most asked questions and for anyone new here. Why is the opposite leg forward in some of our drills? This drill may look familiar if you’ve been following us for a while. The Scap Pull in a half kneeling or standing staggered stance is one of our favorite throwing drills. The reason we use the throwing arm side, leg forward, is to explore tension and resistance between the pelvis and torso. This helps softball and baseball athletes learn blended movements and how to actually rotate to load the arm and throw the ball. When we put it all together we are learning to create resistance between these structures. Give it a try! Top 5 leg exercises🦵 I have nothing against back or front squats, bu after years of training these movements, I decided to step away and focus on building m balance, function, mobility, and bodyweight control with these four exercises: 1️⃣ Reverse Lunge Unilateral gold. Great for balance, hip mobility, and building strength where it actually transfers to sport. Load it heavy or slow it down — both hit different. 2️⃣ Single-Leg RDL Unmatched for posterior chain and balance. Targets hamstrings, glutes, and ankle stability — aka the foundation of athletic movement. Start with just bodyweight or a light dumbbell, and focus on control. 3️⃣ Hex Bar Deadlift The king of safe, powerful pulls. Builds strength without frying your spine. Perfect for athletes who need force production without risking burnout. 4️⃣ Single-Leg Box Jump Power, coordination, and control — all in one. Stick the landing with stability. It’s not about height, it’s about quality. Start low, master the movement. 5️⃣ Sprinting The most athletic thing you can do. Builds speed, power, coordination, and brutal conditioning. It also reinforces proper mechanics and hits the posterior chain hard. Of course, there are loads of great leg exercises out there, but these are some of my favorites and can nearly always be done with your own body weight Dm me 1 to 1 for coaching #athlete #gym #gymmotivation #workout #legworkouts #leg #speed #plyometrics #fitness #fy #fypage #instagood #viral #explore #legs #squats #functional

How I coach the HANG CLEAN PULL 🚀 This is a great option for enhancing leg power in athletes. This variation requires a little bit of coaching to get right, but is generally a pretty straightforward introduction to weightlifting derivatives. In particular, pulls from above the knee are low risk and tend to be less fatiguing—allowing for higher training density. 🔑 Use these coaching cues to ensure you’re sequencing the kinetic chain appropriately and staying safe in the weights room.
