Instagram just dropped a HUGE update! 🤯 You can now add clickable links to your reels. This is huge because now people can spend more time with you and watch more of your content which again is crucial for people to build more trust. Here’s how to use this new feature: 1. Open up the Edits app. 2. Start a new project. 3. At the bottom you’ll see a new “links” option You can either link other accounts or other reels while you’re editing. I would recommend using this one of three ways 1) Series-based content - if you have a series on your next reel link the previous reel in the series and do this for every video moving forward. 2) Pinned posts - your pin posts should serve as your top lead generating pieces of content. On your next reel (if it’s appropriate) link, one of those reels so you can start generating leads. 3) CTAs - you can link your profile and record a call action for people to follow you or again record a call the action for which video you want someone to watch next. Here’s some other thoughts I have about this feature: - if you have multiple accounts, this is great for cross promoting for you to encourage people to follow another page - if you are sharing a video from someone else, this is a great way for that other creator to get recognition Hope this helped.
