Do your hips clicking when you do lying leg raises, or similar core exercises? I used to avoid direct core training because of the annoying clicks. Here are a few things that will help reduce the clicks... 🔹focus on the spine (instead of what the legs are doing); when the spine starts to arch off the floor, the core is no longer controllong the movement...the hip flexors have to control the movement. And they may not be strong enough yet to do it (hence the clicking) 🔹engage the inner thigh muscles (adductors) to help support the hip 🔹focus on quality of each repetition versus the number of repetitions 🔹slow down the speed of every repetition 🔹add strengthening exercises for the hip flexors 🔹 consistency is key; the clicks will not go away with 1 or 2 workouts . .
