Day 7: Making my book from scratch✍️ I’ve been a bit behind lately. I spent the last few weeks making some wedding invitations and have been preparing to do a reading of one of my short stories for an event at Goldsmiths. Time seems to be slipping away from me recently so I relish in these moments when I don’t have to think and can just be. I love the slow pace of book making, having to wait for the paper or ink to dry before carrying on. There is no rushing, lots of time for cups of tea or afternoon walks🐾 #art #craft #bookstagram #handmade #writing

A book that consists of completely self-made parts. Self-made paper on the inside in a beautiful blue and self-colored paper on the outside for the cover. I have to admit, I've had a weakness for blue for a few years now and it really wasn't always like this. I really love this deep blue cover color. Basically, I really like the result. But now comes another project color... but which one? Orange? Green? Or my all-time favorite purple? Ein Buch, das aus komplett selbst hergestellten Teilen besteht.
