Try these simple movements. • Prisoner openers Hands behind your head, chin tuck, open and close your elbows. This improves posture and reduces tech neck by strengthening the deep neck flexors. • Thumb rotations Arms straight, thumbs up and down. This boosts synovial fluid in the rotator cuff which helps protect your shoulders before tennis, lifting, or any overhead work. • Thoracic rotations From quadruped, hand behind your neck, touch elbow down and reach to the ceiling. This opens your mid back and improves thoracic rotation which reduces tension on your lower neck and shoulders. • Swimming patterns Practice slow forward and backward swims. This preserves full shoulder mobility and helps prevent stiffness as we age. Work these in a few times a week and your posture, neck, and shoulders will feel brand new.
