You cannot become a data analyst if you can’t do these things (shared the tools I use in the end)🔥🔥 Follow @onestopdata for data related content! ✅The most imp thing data analysts do is to understand the business requirements. (1) Gathering Data This means collecting data from different sources. Many a times this is done in collaboration with data engineers and architects hence usually the data analyst doesn’t have to do a lot in this. (2) Cleaning Data Going through the data and trying to understand it, making corrections where needed such as removing outliers or data that should not be included in the analysis. This step can take a lot of time, but understanding the data is crucial before you start to process it. (3) Processing data The data processing part of the process is where I use my skills and tools to analyze the work and come up with solutions for the problem at hand. (4) Creating reports for business leaders As an analyst, a lot of my time goes into creating and maintaining reports/dashboards for stakeholders and business leaders. This means showing the metrics and KPIs in the best manner possible to help drive business decisions. The best analysts are those that can use data to tell a story. (5) Collaborating with people This one is my favorite! As a data analyst, you work with many people across departments, both senior and junior. You’ll also likely collaborate closely with other people who work in data science like data architects and database developers. Tools I use: Excel,PowerBI,SQL and Python(sometimes) #dataanalytics #onestopdata #datacleaning #dataprocessing #dashboard #reports #sql #powerbi #excel #python

The link for the course is in my linktree in my bio under “MIT CourseWare”💻 Course by @mitocw is about: This subject is a computer-oriented introduction to probability and data analysis. It is designed to give students the knowledge and practical experience they need to interpret lab and field data. Basic probability concepts are introduced at the outset because they provide a systematic way to describe uncertainty. They form the basis for thelanalysis of quantitativeCATIONS, data in science and engineering. #geospatial #datascience #freecourse #dataanalysis #matlab

1. QUALIFY + ROW_NUMBER() Lets you rank rows and filter results in the same query — perfect for grabbing the most recent or top record without subqueries. 2. LAG / LEAD Used to look at the previous or next row — great for comparing changes over time (day-over-day, month-over-month). 3. WHY ITS HARD TO FIND DATA ANALYSIS JOBS? It’s not your fault. Job market runs on Supply vs Demand. Supply is super high - Thanks to Online Courses and Tech Influencers. You expect that in 4 Months you’ll get a job as told by these courses/programs and LIFE IS SET. It’s a Lie. My advice would be to keep learning. Learn Analysis and Build Projects and start applying. Sidewise, start learning Data Science too and then Machine Learning and Then AI. If you’ve caliber, stamina and guts to walk the long road then only start doing Data Analysis. Finally, I wish you luck and hope you crack a Job in it in before Holi(4th March) #theboringfounder #coding #dataanylysis #machinelearning #ai

here is a step by step approach that i would follow if i had to start in data science and analytics from scratch - ➡️ become a pro at SQL. y’all have no idea how many candidates i have interviewed who are unable to write basic queries using joins and window partitions. you should breathe SQL, it’s like the most basic requirement. ➡️ tools like tableau, powerbi etc sound fancy, but DO NOT waste your time in this. no one really asks questions around these in interviews, and these are actually pretty easy to pick while on the job itself. ➡️ it’s good to know some basic python. knowing your way around manipulating dataframes using pandas and/or numpy is always a plus. ➡️ regularly post your learnings on linkedin, engage with other people’s content, reach out to people in similar fields from your target companies. the more you’re out there, the higher your chances of getting noticed by the correct person. put yourself out there!!! these are some basic tips that should generally work for any beginner. things like statistics, case studies, logical reasoning etc is mostly tested for analysts who have been working for more than a year - will probably delve deeper into this some other time. save this reel if you found it useful and let me know in the comments if you have more questions! #explorepage #creativeedit #pinterestinspo #aestheticedits #pinterestaesthetic #fypage #reelsindia #trendingreels #dayinmylifevlog day in my life, moving to hyderabad, day at work, corporate girl vlog, photo dump, living alone diaries, delhi girl in hyderabad, genz in corporate, romanticising my life, girl in her twenties, exploring hyderabad, data science and analytics, how i got into analytics, career path to become a data scientist or analyst

How I built this data analytics project that uses LLMs to interpret multimodal data (KPI images)! ↳ Pulled the KPI images from a PDF ↳ Connected to OpenAI’s GPT-4 nano ↳ Input prompt & images into LLM ↳ Wrote the results to a report PDF (and I did it without any code too 😉) I used @knimesoftware to put together all the steps visually and create this analysis! It’s free and open source, so you can do it too! KNIME owns the entire data analytics pipeline and makes it really easy to follow the logic from raw data to final output. And it has so many data connections so you can pull data from spreadsheets, databases, APIs, cloud services, and more! Try KNIME today! #data #dataanalytics #knime #project #ai
