A Secret how to afford pilot training ... Pilot training doesn’t require a miracle. It requires commitment There’s no secret way to afford pilot training No shortcut. No hack. No “right timing” You WORK, WORK and WORK You save You keep going when it feels slow I personally know people who worked two or even three jobs while flying, studying, and barely sleeping Not because it was inspiring, but because it was necessary Years later, they’re captains With stability. With options. With the life they once imagined from the right seat. Pilot training doesn’t ask for luck It asks for endurance It’s not glamorous But it works #pilotlife #pilottraining #aviation #pilotsofinstagram #pilotlifestyle

The 4 BASICS for your Pilot Training ↓ Follow these 4 basics just like I did. I have managed to go through the pilot training for half the cost by sticking to this and playing it smart. The full guidelines is detailed in my Ultimate Pilot Guide, available on our website pilothitch.com 👨🏾✈️ 1️⃣ Cost sharing 2️⃣ Work part-time 3️⃣ Training funds 4️⃣ Modular training Follow @_pilothitch for daily content about aviation training and road to the cockpit ✅ Which specific subject would you like me to detail ? #studentpilot #pilotlife #training #skills #motivation #pilot #atpl #cockpit #dedication #focus #aviationlovers #aviation #avgeek #black #lifestyle #pourtoi #fyp #viralcontent #ambition #piloteyes #instagramgrowth #instagramgrowthhacks #contentcreator #contentcreation #plane #boeing #instagramreels #growth #contentcreator #content

On this reserve day it’s back and forth from Canada 🇨🇦 featuring Miss Cici, and @barakattt_ Not shown, getting bumped around flying through squall of heavy rain getting back to Philly and long sits on the taxiway due to runway inspections from a bird strike. 🙃

If you’re curious how long it took to do my PPL training, here’s my timeline! I’m enrolled in a Part 141 course (which is part of my visa requirements). November 21st, 2023: First flight. February 22nd: Phase Check 1, ground April 17th: Phase Check 1, flight April 30th: Phase Check 2, ground and flight May 7th: First solo flight. July 1st: Phase Check 3, ground July 11th: Phase Check 3, flight August 12th: Final Phase Check, ground August 30th: Final Phase Check, flight September 19th: Checkride passed! 🎉 Transparency is important and I hope this has helped anyone that’s curious! Every journey is different and everyone will face challenges. Don’t lose sight of your goals🩷 There were some factors that ultimately ended up extending my timeline more than I anticipated. The main reasons for the delays: ⮕FAA audit of the 141 program, which grounded me while issues were fixed. ⮕Grounding due to discourse on paying installments caused by delays in my training as mentioned above ⮕Changing instructors. ⮕Long wait times for phase checks to be scheduled #aviation #flighttraining #studentpilot #femalepilot

Practicing a speech as a pilot might include the following elements: . Pre-flight briefing: Pilots communicate important flight details to passengers before takeoff, including safety procedures, flight duration, and weather conditions. . Radio communication: Pilots use specific phraseology to communicate with air traffic control, ensuring clear and concise information exchange. . Emergency procedures: Pilots must be prepared to deliver clear and calm instructions to passengers and crew in emergency situations. . Passenger announcements: During the flight, pilots may provide updates on the flight progress, points of interest, or any relevant information. . Checklists and procedures: Pilots often use verbal checklists to ensure all necessary steps are followed during different phases of flight. #pilot #dream #aviation #studentpilot #reelviral #reel #pilotlife #pilotdreamer

This was the #1 mistake that I made early on during my flight training. It's extremely important for you understand that the more time you spend chair flying + studying on the ground, the less money you will have to spend and the better pilot you will become. Our brain barely knows the difference between a steam gauge 172 and a fake cockpit poster in front of an office chair. Reps are reps. After every lesson, you should go home, sit in front of your poster, and chair fly all the maneuvers from your training session. That is essentially getting two lessons for the price of one, and I really wish I did this during my days in flight school. I would have been so much better off! Learn from my mistakes Fly safe everyone. DM me if you are on your flight training journey currently and have any questions. . . . . . #studentpilot #flightschool #flighttraining #pilot #aviation #55555 #atpl #cockpit #dedication #focus #aviationlovers #aviation #avgeek #lifestyle #fyp #winningstreak #ambition #study #savemoney #me #post #reelinstagram #instagramreel #boeing #airbus #cessna #piper #generalaviation #mooney #cirrus

If you don't know what these are, I'll explain. With almost every pilot certificate or rating you earn, you will need to pass a "written" test. These tests are multiple choice tests that you can take anytime in the 24 months preceding the date of your actual Checkride with an examiner. I started flight school in March but started studying for my written tests 4 months before that. Here's a list of ones you might want to do, PAR - Private Pilot Certificate IRA - Instrument Rating CAX - Commercial Certificate FIA & FOI - Flight Instructor Certificate I recommend using Sportys study buddy for the PAR and using Sheppard Air for all of the other ones. Don't worry about truly understanding everything before taking the test. These tests are more of a formality and the goal is memorize the test bank and pass the test. Usually you'd want to learn the material but not for these. Just get them done and you will have so much more time to study and actually learn when you're in flight school. Hope this helps! . . #pilot #flightschool #aviation

You learn a lot in flight school.. but some things, they don’t teach you. Here are 10 things every pilot should know (with a little humor, of course)… 1️⃣ Aviation is 90% boredom, 10% pure chaos. Stay sharp. The boring flights are when you get lazy 2️⃣ Crosswind landings will humble you. One day, you’ll feel like an ace. The next day, the runway will fight back 3️⃣ ATC is your friend… most of the time. But yes, they can absolutely roast you over the radio 4️⃣ Passengers will always ask, “Do you know how to fly this thing?” … No, I just push buttons and hope for the best 5️⃣ Checklists exist for a reason. The one time you don’t use it? That’s when you forget the fuel caps. 6️⃣ Your first solo will be the scariest and most exciting thing you ever do. Until you have to teach someone else how to solo 7️⃣ You’ll never look at clouds the same way again. They’re no longer “fluffy sky things” they’re turbulence factories 8️⃣ Fuel is always more important than your ego. No shame in diverting. Shame in explaining why you ran out of gas 9️⃣ The best pilots are always learning. Arrogance is expensive. So are bad landings 🔟 You will never “arrive” as a pilot. The moment you think you know it all? That’s when aviation teaches you a lesson Flying isn’t just about skills.. it’s about mindset, discipline, and constantly improving. I’m on a mission to help 1,000 pilots get lean & get their energy back in 90 days using my Autopilot Method because health isn’t complicated. It’s just sold wrong. What’s one lesson you wish you learned sooner?👇🏼

This is how i did it - part 2🤔👇🏻 This is how I’m planning to make it happen — step by step, without rushing and without debt ✈️ The first rule I set for myself: no loans. I don’t want financial pressure following me for years. I want freedom in this journey. So the plan is simple but disciplined: finish my PPL first, build strong foundations, then move to ATPL theory online. Studying ATPL online reduces the costs A LOT 💻 and gives me flexibility — around 18 months to complete it. Then continue on CPL/IR/ME/MCC and that should be it, these doesn’t take a lot of times roughly 2-3 months but costs a lot more 🤯. Yes… it takes time. And that’s the part that sometimes gets in my head ⏳. But I’ve seen reviews, talked to people, and realized it’s completely doable with consistency. My strategy: 2 hours of studying every single day + weekends fully optimized 📚. Having a software engineering job where I only work on-site twice a week honestly helps so much. If I had a fully on-site job every day, this would be way harder (at least for me). Remote flexibility is a blessing in this phase. Right now, my focus is passing my PPL exams. We have 9 subjects, and I decided to take on 3 subjects per month — which is intense 😅. The next three I’m preparing for are: • ✈️ Aircraft General Knowledge • ⚖️ Performance & Mass • 🗺️ Flight Planning It’s challenging, but I’d rather push hard now than regret going slow later. Stay tuned for Part 3 — I’ll share exactly how I’m preparing for my PPL exams and how I’m handling this phase mentally and practically 🔥
