Not every strong girl looks strong. Some of us are just surviving Day 1. Curled up in bed. Holding my stomach. Crying quietly. And being a PCOD girlie makes it even worse. If you relate, please tell me I’m not alone in the comments 🤍 #period #pain #pcod #relatable #fyp

Menstrual cramps are not just pain — they are your body’s natural process. The first 8 hours of periods can feel intense because the uterus contracts to shed its lining. This is a normal part of your menstrual cycle. But understanding this process helps you care for your body better 🌸 Take rest. Stay calm. “POV: period pain hits 😖 But so do the remedies 💗 Heat. Rest. Hydration. Self-love ✨” (Period pain, hormone issue, period cramps, periods)

Learn here ⬇️ Save this before your next cycle 🩷 🚫 1. Coffee doesn’t fix cramps Caffeine actually tightens blood vessels, which makes cramps and bloating worse. Try tea or just hydrate instead 💧 🚫 2. Doubling up on pads won’t make your period lighter It just makes you uncomfortable 😩 What actually helps? Changing often + using the right size for your flow. 🚫 3. Starving yourself ≠ less bloat Skipping meals only crashes your blood sugar and messes with your mood. Your body needs fuel, not restriction 🍓 🚫 4. “Push through the pain” Forcing yourself to keep going only makes it worse. Rest, warmth, or gentle movement works better than pretending it’s not happening 🧸 ✨ Once I started tracking with the Aoife app, I realized my body wasn’t “random” — it was reacting to me. Now I use its science-backed sound therapy to calm cramps and balance mood before they even start. It’s like having a best friend who actually gets your cycle 💅 #periodtips #period #girlproblems #viral #fyp #cramps #ovulation

Here’s what your flow might be trying to tell you and when it could be a sign to check in with your provider. We hear it all the time: “Periods are messy, painful, and unpredictable.” But certain changes in period blood, especially color, consistency, and volume, can signal hormone imbalances or underlying health issues. 🔴 Brown or dark period blood Wondering what does brown period blood mean? At the start or end of your period, it is usually older blood that took longer to leave the uterus and oxidized. But brown blood mid-cycle or with other symptoms may point to low progesterone or estrogen dominance, especially if your period takes a long time to start or drags on. 🩸 Large menstrual clots Asking is it normal to pass large blood clots during your period? Small clots can be normal, but frequent or large clots (bigger than a quarter) can indicate heavy bleeding (menorrhagia), fibroids, or high estrogen levels. Clots form when bleeding is so fast your body cannot break it down in time. 💧 Very heavy period flow Googling why is my period so heavy all of a sudden? If you are soaking through a pad or tampon every 1–2 hours or bleeding longer than 7 days, it is considered abnormal. This could be linked to: • PCOS (irregular ovulation = irregular shedding) • Endometriosis • Hypothyroidism • Iron deficiency • Perimenopause period changes Your cycle is a vital sign. Brown blood, big clots, and very heavy periods are your body’s way of communicating. If this sounds like you, follow @legendairywomen for more women’s health education. Periods are not punishment. Period pain is not drama. And cramps are not “just in your head.” Menstrual pain happens because the uterus contracts to shed its lining. Those contractions reduce blood flow for a short time — less blood means less oxygen — and that lack of oxygen is what your body feels as cramps. This video explains: • why period pain actually happens • why salt makes bloating and cramps worse • why heat and warm tea help • why painkillers give temporary relief, not a fix This content is not meant to scare or shame anyone. It’s here to explain what your body is asking for — warmth, circulation and care. Education helps women listen to their bodies, not fight them. 🌸 👉 Save this for your next cycle. #PeriodPain #MenstrualHealth #WomensHealth #CycleEducation #HormoneHealth
