I’ll never program something I’m not willing to do myself. I have clients with varying goals- weight-loss, injury recovery, sport-specific, etc. Even if it’s not my usual style of training, I put myself through the workouts I program so I know exactly how it feels, what challenges come up, and how to help my clients through them. I use myself as a guinea pig for figuring out different cues that will help clients too. This one def humbled me, but growth for me means better results for you 👏🏼 #personaltrainers #strengthttraining #personaltrainerlife

Being a personal trainer is more than just writing workouts. When my clients leave the gym, they still pop up in my mind. I think about the ways they’re trying, how they balance life, do their best, and continue to show up even when shit hits the fan. I love hearing about their lives, how they’re motivating, and the challenges they face so we can overcome those hurdles in their fitness journey. That’s not something I take lightly. I genuinely care about my clients- past and present- and everyone I coach. And I’m SO grateful and honored if you’ve trusted me to work with you. Love y’all! 🫶🏻

It all comes back to communication … … … Send this to a coach who’s frustrated by clients who quit. Coaches & Trainers need to ask the right questions. We must provide adequate education & information. When expectations - on both sides - are clearly communicated chances of success go WAY UP 📈 … … #onlinecoach #fitnesscoach #healthandfitness #personaltraining #trainereducation

There are phases of training and not everyone is on the same one. Should you be working on : Stability? Strength? Power? There are so many factors that determine where you should be- age, weight, active level(experience) , muscle imbalances, form, goals, health concerns, etc. You shouldnt be doing just what that person or influencer is doing because you are likely not like them. (This reminds me of the friend episode where Rachel and Monica were copying off of a training session and their booty was growing and weren’t happy but that was the goal of the person they were mimicking🤣) This is where personal trainers come in to play. There is so much your person trainer can do for you to make sure you are progressing safely and effectively! Where you want to be and where you should be may not match but there are certain considerations so you don’t injure yourself or overtrain. What are some goals you have health or fitness related?

After a decade of personal training, small group training, large class training, and online coaching… I continue to hold the belief that 1x1 personal training is unmatched. 👏 With that being said: ALL training + coaching methods have their place and strengths 👏 At the end of the day, it’s about what resonates and aligns with YOU as an individual, best 🙂 . . . 👋 If we haven’t met, I’m Sophia, a Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Nutrition Coach with a deep passion for helping people build strength, resilience, and long-lasting habits that elevate your quality of life This is your go-to place for personal training + nutrition that meets you where you are 🤝 📍 In-Suite or Online For more information on training, see 🔗 in bio . . . #personaltrainer #siouxfallspersonaltrainer #newtofitness #sfsd

3 great reasons to hire a personal trainer and fitness coach: 1) Who doesn’t love somebody having their back? Somebody to cheer you on. Somebody who is in your corner and wants to see you succeed. 2) Learn proper form and technique. Avoid injuries caused by rushing movements or using equipment you aren’t familiar with. Or work around injuries/dislikes/difficulties. 3) Workout planning. Not putting too much on you too soon, or holding you back when you are capable of more. Need some workout accountability or help? Just want me to coach you with a couple in person sessions to get form corrected? Let me know!

Your workouts shouldn’t feel random. There’s a reason your program evolves every few weeks. I train in structured four-week cycles — building, progressing, challenging, and recovering — so you get stronger without burning out. Real progress isn’t guessed. It’s planned. 💪 #fitnessprogramming #personaltrainer

A funny thing happens when you become a personal trainer. You think your job is to write programs and coach form & technique. But somewhere along the way, you also become: • Videographer • DJ • Nutrition sounding board • Unofficial therapist • Accountability partner • And occasionally… a magician 😅 Coaching isn’t just sets and reps. ▪️It’s helping someone build consistency. ▪️It’s creating an environment where they feel supported. ▪️It’s giving them structure without overwhelm. That’s why people stay. Simple strength training. Smart programming. A sustainable approach that fits into real life. Comment “COACH” or send me a DM if you’re ready to start 💪🏾✨ #dayinthelife #personaltrainer #funnyvideos #personaltrainersandiego

Most people don’t avoid personal training because it doesn’t work. They avoid it because they misunderstand what it actually is. They think it’s someone yelling at them. They think they need to be “fit enough” first. They think soreness equals progress. They think knowing exercises is the same as knowing how to train. But real personal training isn’t about destroying yourself. It’s about learning how to train properly, consistently, and in a way that fits your life. The biggest shift for most people isn’t physical...it’s mental. Once you stop chasing punishment and start chasing structure, everything changes. Progress comes from showing up, doing the basics well, and repeating them long enough to matter. That’s what coaching is really for. If you’ve ever felt stuck, inconsistent, or like you keep “starting over,” it’s probably not a motivation problem...it’s a structure problem. And structure changes everything.

When you’re sitting at home or in the office, the idea of “The Gym” feels like a massive, mountain-sized commitment. But let’s break the math down: A solid 60-minute session is only 4% of your day. If an hour feels like too much? Give me 30 minutes. That’s 2%. My goal as your coach isn’t to take over your life. It’s to make that 2% or 4% the best part of your day, so the other 96% feels easier to handle. You don’t need to find “time.” You just need to claim that tiny window for yourself. It’s a small trade for a big result. See you at the door! If you’ve got 30 minutes today, you’ve got enough. Double tap if you’re claiming your 2% today. Your business won’t grow if you don’t help with nutrition too. You’re toast if you can’t rehab people. And if you’re not tucking clients in at night so they go to bed on time, your business will crumble. I’ve heard all of the above. All of it makes it seem being a personal trainer isn’t enough. You’ve got to be more in order to be successful. And there’s some truth to it — you shouldn’t stop at your personal trainer cert. Being a great personal trainer is more than that. But being a great personal trainer IS enough. You can radically change someone’s life helping them upgrade their fitness. It impacts their mind, body, and relationships. And when you go all-in on providing an unparalleled training service to your clients, their results and your business will grow.

When they think a workout plan is the same as coaching👀 It’s not. Listen👇🏾 A program tells you what to do. A coach makes sure you’re doing it right💯 If you want real progress, not just random workouts… you know where to find me. DM “READY” 🔥 #coaching #personaltrainer #igpost #fitness #relatable
