Faire popper la pâte à modeler ! Ma meilleure recette de pâte à modeler maison à la fin. Avec mes enfants, je me demande souvent quoi inventer avec de la pâte à modeler. Si eux ont une imagination débordante, j’avoue sécher souvent pour les accompagner. J’ai trouvé cette petite idée amusante et qui change de l’ordinaire. On fabrique des petits coussins où l’on emprisonne de l’air et, en les écrasant, ils éclatent en faisant des bruits plus ou moins forts selon s’ils sont bien réussis. Ça a le don de faire rire les enfants tout en travaillant la motricité fine. J’en profite pour vous repartager ma recette inratable de pâte à modeler maison. Cette recette est comestible et se conserve 6 mois dans des pots hermétiques à température ambiante. • 2 pots de farine (taille d’un pot à yaourt) • 1/2 pot de sel • 1 càs d’huile • 2 càs de crème de tartre (peut être remplacée par du bicarbonate) • 1 verre d’eau bouillante (attention, si ce n’est pas assez chaud la pâte à modeler ne prendra pas) • Colorant alimentaire pour colorer Mélangez tous les ingrédients sauf l’eau, que vous ajoutez petit à petit à la fin. Yes we read “Pout Pout Fish” first! This pinch pot fish project is one of my favorite ways to introduce clay concepts in a flexible, low stress way. Students start by forming a simple pinch pot, then tip it on its side to create a big open mouth. From there they attach eyes and fins to the outside and let the form do the work. The steps are guided, but there is plenty of room for individual decisions and personality. We use Model Magic for this project because it is forgiving, easy for small hands, and holds together beautifully as it dries. It also makes the pieces easier to attach and paint later, which is a huge win in primary art. Tomorrow’s video will share how we paint these fish using flexible rules that keep creativity front and center.
