Back tightness can often be resolved just by strengthening the back in a variety of ways. This is just one exercise that focuses primarily on extending the lower back from a flexed position. Start with 5-10 reps and see how you feel. All good? Do 5-10 reps with a 2-second hold at the top. Feel good? Start increasing the reps and hold or even put a dumbbell to squeeze between your legs. Or more bands. It’s not rocket science. 🍑 Make sure the pad is set BELOW your hip crease and think of an RDL on the way down, a hip thrust on the way up aka move from your damn hips 🍑 Rotate your feet out slightly. Pay attention to the muscle groups shown in this video. Your spinal erectors, QLs, abdominals, hip flexors, & piriformis.
