😍 My first Ruby Star Society Patchwork is underway! I usually lay out my pieces in landscape orientation, but this textile will be the flap for my Anastasia Bag so it’s in portrait orientation instead. It doesn’t affect too much in this case, but if my fabrics were very directional it would matter more. Thank you everyone that tuned in to my IG live yesterday! My Facebook feed puttered out so I’ll have to re-think it. My internet has been spotty lately, maybe that’s why? Make a 16 patch quilt with me! 🤩 I’ve had two jelly rolls sitting around for a while waiting for the perfect pattern and I decided it was time to use them in a 16 patch quilt = classic, fast and scrappy! And FYI - all seam allowances are 1/4” and seams should be pressed in the same direction for each section. I’ll get a fabric breakdown typed up later this week if anyone is interested, for jelly rolls, FQs, and for scraps! 📝 Okay, off to sew my last few remaining blocks!
