The scroll saw changed my life. I was so lost, confused, and had no sense of self whatsoever. All I knew was everything I had tried to make myself “happy” wasn’t working. I had the kids. I had the husband. I had the house. I had a growing business. I had all the things the world said I should have, but I was left empty still. With the everything quiet, mask on, hands making, Jesus met me. He came as a slow whisper to my heart offering me a better way. Earning my trust and showing up in the smallest places. Offering me purpose, and peace, and freedom, and life, and worth. He would prompt me to podcasts, then to music, then to joining a local church, then to building a community and so on all while standing a couple steps ahead of me guiding me along. Every victory and every wrong turn. It hasn’t been a quick process and we are forever doing life together as I am molded into the woman He created me to be, but moments like this where I get to go back to the beginning and remember those first days at the saw, just fills me with so much gratitude. 🫶🏼

Well, I still haven’t mastered this scroll saw, but I’m having fun learning this new art form— and I’m extra thankful for my sander that helps to hide my shaky cuts.
