People don’t warn you about this part… I didn’t quit with a label. I didn’t set a timeline. I just decided to stop drinking for a while and see how I felt. And honestly… I feel amazing. Clearer head. Im ashamed to admit that moments like these were a regular occurrence. I thought I was invincible, above the law. I remember putting a 2 pence piece in my mouth because I’d been told if you get caught it can interfere with the breathalyser reading.
