Comment STAIN for all the details (links, code, everything!) 🥳 Here’s why I stopped fighting with wood stain and actually started getting even, streak-free finishes, every time: After way too many fails with traditional stain like lap marks, streaks, splotchy patches, and sticky topcoats, I switched to a stain and finishing oil. It conditions, stains, and seals wood in a single step. No more worrying about pre-stain conditioner, and you only have to sand to 120 grit (yes, really! The can says so!). What makes it foolproof: • It soaks into the wood for buttery, matte color • No lap marks, even on big dresser tops • No “sticky topcoat” drama: the built in sealer cures right with the stain • You don’t need a perfect sanding job (and honestly, it’s more forgiving on open grain) • Application is so fast: I use an edger pad that glides on smooth, covers the whole top without constant re-dipping, and leaves zero brush marks 😍 How I use it: 1️⃣ Sand to 120 grit 2️⃣ Apply stain + finishing oil generously with the edger 3️⃣ Let it sit for 15–20 minutes 4️⃣ Wipe back with a microfiber cloth (trust me, microfiber is better than old t-shirts 😉) 5️⃣ Let it cure. You’re done! Want more sheen or color? Just repeat for extra coats. But you’ll love the feel right away. If you’re sick of streaks or patchy finishes, or you’ve ruined a project with the wrong topcoat, try this method. It’s genuinely beginner-friendly, fast, and the finish lasts. Just comment STAIN if you want my links. Got more staining questions? Drop them below and I'll do my best to answer! #furnitureflip #woodstain #woodfinishing #DIYFurniture #furnituremakeover

Dining Room part 11 I’m still going back to show my steps of how I did my dining room In this part, it’s the final finish for the floor and I put some wood stain and varnish on it with a little help from my mate @danny_sandhouse he made me a custom stain colour and gave me lots of advice I’m so impressed with how it came out but I’ve got other parts to show and I can’t wait to bring it to you so make sure you like and follow for more

This worktop transformation says it all 💙🏡 Restored by Craig, the surface has been carefully brought back from everyday wear to a clean, refreshed finish. It’s amazing what the right restoration can reveal. Sometimes you don’t need to replace… you just need to restore. It was already a stunning kitchen and we think this just adds to the beauty of it 😍🥰 #worktoprestoration #woodcare #beforeandafter #kitchenrefresh #homeglowup

Would do it again, but also…. never want to do it again lol It was absolutely worth the work though - it turned out way better than I thought it would. It made a huge difference in the look of my kitchen for pennies compared to the cost of replacing cabinetry. If you have cheap cabinets or cabinets that you just don’t like GIVE THIS A TRY! Let me know if you have any other questions 🤩 🔗 Comment “KITCHEN” for the links to everything I used 🔗 #diy #retiqueit #woodcabinets #retiqueitliquidwood #budgetkitchen

I always like Stone countertops in the kitchen, but when you have an island and you’re working at it and sitting at it constantly, there’s something nice about the warmth and softness of wood. This cost me less than $10 a square foot back in the day, which I thought was a deal and I am able to refinish it pretty much indefinitely And it will just keep looking better and better.
