It conditions, stains, and seals wood in a single step. No more worrying about pre-stain conditioner, and you only have to sand to 120 grit (yes, really! The can says so!). What makes it foolproof: • It soaks into the wood for buttery, matte color • No lap marks, even on big dresser tops • No “sticky topcoat” drama: the built in sealer cures right with the stain • You don’t need a perfect sanding job (and honestly, it’s more forgiving on open grain) • Application is so fast: I use an edger pad that glides on smooth, covers the whole top without constant re-dipping, and leaves zero brush marks 😍 How I use it: 1️⃣ Sand to 120 grit 2️⃣ Apply stain + finishing oil generously with the edger 3️⃣ Let it sit for 15–20 minutes 4️⃣ Wipe back with a microfiber cloth (trust me, microfiber is better than old t-shirts 😉) 5️⃣ Let it cure. Would do it again, but also…. never want to do it again lol It was absolutely worth the work though - it turned out way better than I thought it would. I always like Stone countertops in the kitchen, but when you have an island and you’re working at it and sitting at it constantly, there’s something nice about the warmth and softness of wood. This cost me less than $10 a square foot back in the day, which I thought was a deal and I am able to refinish it pretty much indefinitely And it will just keep looking better and better.
