Here are my tips on pressing big weights. 1 - suicide grip 2 - shoulder blades back and down 3 - hold your breath from start to finish (this tip isn’t for everyone. It can make you pass out, so if you feel dizzy, stop immediately. Also, do it in a safety rack with someone standing behind you) 4 - push backwards Something that I didn’t mention here is that I always use a belt for overhead press. Don’t let the weight change the movement Especially with the strict press…you will kinda do whatever to “get the weight up” if you aren’t careful. Be strict with yourself on the strict press and don’t make it baby push press or a standing bench press.
