And so you can come back to this song. ❤️❤️❤️ I don’t even care that it has nothing to do with this post or caption. I was going to voiceover my itinerary but I just couldn’t touch this song. I dare you not let this play on repeat at least 10x. Okay, let’s gooooo….. 👆Day 1: -Grab bfast at @bakedintelluride -Hike to Bridal Veil Falls where you are not 1 but 3 waterfalls. 4 in the summer! -Lunch on the hike -Spend the afternoon in Town Park—bike, play volleyball, playground, pretend you’re a local -Ride the (free!) gondola over to Mountain Village for dinner with fewer crowds and to climb the rock wall -Ride back at sunset for the best views ✌️Day 2: -Hike to the Bear Creek Trail to another epic waterfall -Lunch on the hike (you can grab sandwiches from @bakedintelluride for the hike too!) -Hang out by the river and SUP for added fun -Eat dinner in town (we love @browndogpizza for a family friendly atmosphere) -Get ice cream at Mountain High Ice Cream cart (seasonal) and walk back to the river for sunset 👌Day 3: -Depending on how far your drive on this travel day either do a shorter hike like Cornet Falls or a longer (my fave!!) hike to Lake Hope Is Telluride on your list? It goes 11mph, takes 13 minutes, and one the best parts is that dogs are welcome! It’s one of the most beautiful views you’ll ever see from a Gondola. 2. Hike in the San Juan Mountains 🏔️ There are several hikes to choose from but we recommend the Blue Lakes Trail. It’s 8.7 miles with 2509 ft of elevation gain and the views are breathtaking. 3. Stay at the Mountain Lodge Telluride 🛎️ We had the absolute best experience staying with @mountainlodgetride- where cozy meets luxury. It’s conveniently located in Telluride’s Mountain Village! The staff was unbelievably accommodating, the rooms were just perfect and cozy, and the amenities were so nice! We really enjoyed the relaxing hot tub each night. 4. Grab A Latte at The Coffee Cowboy ☕️ As you step off the gondola in downtown Telluride, turn right and you’ll find @thecoffeecowboy truck! I enjoyed a breve with Irish cream flavoring. 5. Walk the Quaint Streets of Downtown 🌳 There are so many cute shops and yummy restaurants in downtown, not to mention gorgeous mountain views! 6. Go Out For Pizza At @browndogpizza 🍕 Who knew there would be award winning Detroit style pizza in Colorado?! We were so impressed, it was the perfect treat after a day of hiking! We recommend the Brooklyn Bridge (tomato sauce / mozzarella / ricotta / pepperoni / sausage / garlic / pecorino Romano cheese) & the 3-1-3 (ricotta / garlic / mozzarella / salami / Calabria red chili peppers / piquante peppers / basil / arugula / Parmigiano Reggiano / evoo) 7. Hike the Bridal Veil Falls Trail 🥾 This shorter hike (right by town) leads you to three beautiful waterfalls. It’s 2 miles round trip with an elevation gain of 859 feet. 8. Stroll The Riverwalk 🍁 There is a lovely trail along the river that is dog friendly. We were here during the fall season so the leaves were gorgeous. It was so nice to just listen to the river and enjoy a nice walk. Tag someone who needs to visit Telluride, Colorado with you!
