Your core is one of the most crucial part to train as an athlete Every time you twist, turn, bend… Your core is responsible for that Not just in sports but in everyday life 

It connects your upper body to your lower body

Having a strong core helps to transfer energy efficiently throughout the body

Which helps with speed, agility, power, strength & more.

But most people don’t train their core properly.

Simple principles to follow:

1️⃣ Bend your core/spine in different directions
• Flexion (forward), lateral flexion (sideways), extension (backwards), rotation (rotate)
 2️⃣ Unilateral exercises to resist motion
• Single arm/leg exercises or load on one side that require your core to stabilize your body 3️⃣ Add weights
• Same as any other body parts, if you want to get stronger you need to progressively add weight to it 4️⃣ Add speed
• Sports require you to twist your body rapidly, train the same.
• Build strength first then add in explosive movements
 *1-2 core exercises after each training session will do that job ✅
