If you’re trying to grow your triceps, hitting them from different angles really helps. 1. Cross-body cable extension (elbow down) Great for targeting the long head, especially in that shortened position. 2. Cross-body cable extension (elbow up/slightly flared) Shifts a bit more tension toward the lateral head, while still working the long head. Small elbow change, different feel. I like using no attachment (just grabbing the cable or rubber stopper). It gives a smoother range of motion and usually feels easier on the wrists. 3. Single-arm dumbbell overhead extension Awesome for the long head, and you’ll feel the medial head kick in too. Different angles. Full tricep development.
