Flying Hive Tyrant conversion. Have altered it to change its look from the other one I have as I can’t have two models looking the same! I cut the tail so I could turn it round. I gave it a new head but changed the antenna it came with to a nice chitin blade. I also pinned it so I could mount it horizontal onto a wall that it’s crashing through. "Dwarf Sungazer Lizard" This species is native to East Africa. It is listed under CITES Appendix II, and a CITES permit is required for import. In the wild, they live in groups on a single rocky area. The baby shown in the video was born directly from its mother's belly, not from an egg. This is an unusual trait for a reptile. They are usually timid, but after about six months of captivity, they become very tame and comfortable around humans!! #reptile #insect #exoticpets #爬虫類 #昆虫

Tonight’s and yesterday’s progress on this beast. What would you call this thing??? What are your thoughts on the lore behind The caravan devil? Is it just a highly evolved predator lurking in the jungles of Catachan? Or is it a Tyranid organism that was part of an infiltration reconnaissance detachment? I would be interested in hearing your thoughts! I would think it’s a Tyranid infiltrator detachment sent ahead of the fleet long before the hive fleet. But also I don’t know, after listening to some of the lore, the catch devil may just be a super large centipede. What do@you guys think? Sorry it's long, but this is my attempt to explain how I sculpt some of the textures on my Tyranid conversions - the tubes inside the chimney stacks, sinewy muscle stuff and spiracles.
