This awesome hybrid program is led by UC Master Gardener volunteers and offered at many locations throughout Los Angeles each spring and fall. It was my second time gardening with others - and I loved it!! I really enjoyed hearing about everyone’s unique garden, their tips, and challenges. Volunteer at the Master Gardeners Spring Garden Fair Join us at Martial Cottle Park for a fun and rewarding day supporting our community garden event. It’s a great way to learn, connect, and give back. Pre registration is required. Bring your signed volunteer waiver and photo release form. Volunteers under 18 must have forms signed by a parent or legal guardian. Link in the first comment to register Dress to be outdoors and come prepared with a water bottle. Sturdy closed toed shoes, a hat, and sunscreen are recommended. Students are welcome and we will sign off on community service hours. @bostse1 and their Future Gardeners programme helps to provide horticultural qualifications to people within their community to help them get the skills they need to pursue a career in horticulture. As part of Earth Raise, I travelled down to volunteer for the day to learn more about what -they do and how their work has impacted their community.
