CTE Spotlight: Industrial Design ✍️🎨 What if you could design the products people use every day? At High Tech High School, the Industrial Design Major empowers students to transform creative ideas into real world products while developing career ready skills for the future. Students experience the full product design process, beginning with hand drawn sketches, developing detailed digital models, and creating physical prototypes that bring their ideas to life. Using industry design software and hands on fabrication tools, students explore how form, function, and user experience come together in successful product design. Along the way, they strengthen technical design skills, problem solving abilities, and collaboration while learning how designers test ideas, refine concepts, and improve their creations. Through hands on projects, students prepare for college programs, internships, and careers in product design, engineering, manufacturing, and technology.
