My new board (rev 3) arrived and this supports an much improved sound on the internal speakers, blacklight that illuminates the keys from back and all the buttons of the four encoders are now connected to the controller for additional inputs. On the enclosure side I changed the 1000mAh battery to a 3000mAh one, to increase the runtime. Now the system is running for about 15 hours without external power. On the software side I fixes a lot of issues and I developed a new „Cyber-Radio“ option. This is connected to the Internet and loads a lot of information from there. On example it is connected to a configurabe news ticker and it loads random - long forgotten - NOKIA ringtones from there. Had a lot of trouble with performance and memory issues in the past weeks. Development is now getting tougher … In the video you hear the internal speakers. By moving voltages in certain patterns, we can create the fundamental "shapes" of sound.I’m using potentiometers to vary the signals frequency, which allows for smooth pitch shifting across the scale.
