So please, be nice to each othern in the comment section. __________original caption below______ Olá dear knitters, today I want to finally share why I no longer sell my knitting patterns on Ravelry — and honestly, it’s a bit frustrating. The main reason is PayPal. I’ve written to several PayPal offices, tried customer support, and even contacted official complaint offices — nothing worked. They deleted my account without any notice or explanation. Ravelry only works with PayPal, so that means I just can’t sell my patterns there anymore. But except for this... The second reason is Ravelry’s lack of customer support. Over the past three years, I’ve sent multiple messages and never received a reply. The third reason is invoicing. Ravelry doesn’t give proper customer info like names or addresses, which makes it impossible to create official invoices for taxes. I really would love to continue selling my patterns there, but I just can’t. I wish Ravelry was more flexible, because a few people have already asked me if I’ll ever sell my patterns there again. Until Ravelry changes its approach, though, I just can’t. The good news is that my patterns are now available on Etsy, and I’m listing them on Ravelry (will continue usuing it as a database). In the future, I’ll also be able to sell them directly on my website.
