Had a once in a lifetime flight experience tonight on our way home. Thanks @united for letting us reroute a bit to see the launch of Artemis II from the coolest angle! I own all rights to the video as I took it on the flight.

WE’RE GOING BACK TO THE MOON Congrats to the amazing people who worked on Artemis II!🚀 @nasa #nasa #artemisii #rockets #spacenews #backtothemoon

WE DID IT! Artemis II is GOING TO THE MOON! I can’t believe it’s my job to capture stuff like this! What a surreal experience! • • • #nasa #artemis #sls #orion #moon

We’re heading to the Moon. Our Artemis II mission is scheduled to lift off from @NASAKennedy with a launch window opening as early as Feb. 6. @astro_reid, @astrovicglover, @astro_christina, and the @canadianspaceagency’s @astrojeremy will fly around the Moon and back, testing our @NASAArtemis hardware and paving the way to a long-term presence on the lunar surface. Witnessing American history & Badassery!!! The Artemis II launch at Cape Canaveral, Florida. The most powerful man rocket in history. Sending four brave astronauts further than any human has ever been from planet Earth. Absolutely spectacular. Well done NASA & Administrator @rookisaacman @nasaadmin 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

ARTEMIS II LAUNCH FROM AN AIRPLANE: @ksmathandmore was nice enough to share this video and said this was “a once in a lifetime flight experience” last night. United Airlines rerouted the flight a little bit to get a front row seat view of history being made! Artemis II is a crucial turning point in space exploration as this is the first mission to the Moon in over 50 years!

⚠️Info: Artemis II launched on April 1, 2026, carrying four astronauts aboard NASA’s Orion spacecraft on a mission to fly around the Moon. The launch itself went smoothly, with the Space Launch System performing as expected and successfully placing Orion into orbit. Early mission phases, including key trajectory and system checks, were completed without major issues, confirming that critical systems are working reliably. Some minor problems did occur. Shortly after launch, there was a brief communication dropout between Orion and mission control, and a small malfunction in the spacecraft’s toilet system, which the crew managed to fix. Overall, the mission is progressing as planned, with no serious technical failures so far. Comment 🙌 if you read the caption! Artemis II 2026 🚀🌕 Artemis II marks a major milestone in human spaceflight. Launched by NASA, this mission is the first crewed lunar flyby since 1972, designed to test the Orion spacecraft and Space Launch System (SLS) with astronauts onboard 👨🚀 🔹 No lunar landing on this mission 🔹 Primary objective: validate life-support systems, navigation, and deep-space operations 🔹 Critical step toward a sustained human return to the Moon The next phase, Artemis III, aims to achieve a crewed lunar landing and expand long-term exploration capabilities 🌙 #NASA #Artemis #SpaceScience #Moon #HumanSpaceflight

Artemis II lifts off of pad 39B, as seen from right outside the fence. On April 1st 2026, NASA’s SLS rocket flew off the pad at 6:35 PM. Perfect light and not a cloud in the sky. The greatest launch I have ever seen by far. Four astronauts are now in low earth orbit, bound for the moon and to travel further than any human ever has. A big thank you to the hardworking employees at NASA who got this beautiful rocket off the ground. I know this moment was even more special for them than it was for me. Good luck to the crew on the rest of their journey! This video was shot on a remotely triggered video camera placed less than half a mile from the rocket. I am so so proud of it and ecstatic that it came out. 🎥 me (@nyoom.tm) for @thelaunchpadnetwork
